Created by and for animators, akeytsu brings creativity back into 3D animation with an emphasis on efficiency and ergonomics. Built from the start as an animation software, akeytsu does away with the unnecessary technicalities of traditional solutions to offer a disruptive toolset and workflows that drastically simplify the rigging and 3D animation process. Production of keyframe animations for characters is halved when working with akeytsu compared to other solutions.

Productions powered by akeytsu include Phoenix Point by Snapshot Games, Suki and The Shadow Klaw by Feline Arts, Epic Tavern by Hyperkinetic, Pumpkin Jack by Nicolas Meyssonier and more still unannounced. Outstanding features include light rigging with hybrid IK/FK skeleton, non-destructive rigging & animation editing, easy IK and reverse foot setup, instant playblast and smart tools for animation cycles.

Seamless integration within a 3D asset FBX pipeline

Import your mesh from any 3D software through .FBX to rig and animate in akeytsu. Export your animations in a single or several .FBX file(s) for use in your rendering or game engine solution. Here is a non-exhaustive list of compatible game engines/tools: Unreal Engine 4, Unity, Autodesk Maya, Autodesk 3ds Max, MotionBuilder, Cinema 4D, Blender, Modo, Marmoset Toolbag, iClone and many more...

In August, Nukeygara revealed their 2019 roadmap for akeytsu announcing a macOS version, an innovative blendshape workflow, implementation of additive layers and support for voxel skinning.
