Why Early Access?

“Early Access gives us the opportunity to balance the game, and introduce more player recommended content before release. We are seeking community support to help us push slime to its potential.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“This game will remain in Early Access (beta) for approximately one year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The final release of the game aims to be more comprehensive and provide a seamless user experience. We're also considering features like adventure mode, challenge mode, local co-op, custom controller binding, these sorts of things. The community by and large will influence what slime becomes. We will take advantage of polling to put players in the driver seat.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We intend to always offer a generous amount of free-to-play content. On Steam this may be called a demo but really it contains most of the content that the game has to offer. The game can be bought, including premium features for $5. We reserve the right to gradually raise the price of premium as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We would like to add in-game polling/surveys and make decisions around what our user base collectively desires. The game's development and success rely on sustaining a user base that empowers us to keep moving forward. In return we hope to provide a great game play experience. Player Moderator roles may be award to players who have been very helpful and active in the community.”

About This Game

  • We currently provide very limited controller support. You can only controller your slime during a match, and with the 360 controller. We would like to eventually support custom key bindings and the ability to navigate the interface with the controller.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why is Mac/Linux not supported?
    Cross-platform builds and deployments take time we don't have to spare. For now, players on these platforms can access slime via a web browser.
  • Mobile Phone Play?
    If we are successful enough to produce a mobile app we will do so. Trying to maintain feature parity with the desktop application was not productive.
