What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We would like to validate our game design and development decisions from the community. To do this, we would like as much feedbacks as possible before a full release.

Early Access allows us to observe what’s working and what’s not.
This helps us make the best game possible with the limited resources we have.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It's really hard to say for how long the game will be in Early Access. We will keep working on The Tales of Epicton Kingdom within our means until we are sure that we're delivering a high quality game and happy with what we’ve got.
Our main goal is to deliver an unique and enjoyable experience for your entertainment.

We'll focus on polishing and finishing up the story, bug fixes and expanding the gameplay by adding more different casual games. Early Access could last indefinitely as well depending of the success of the game. However, we're looking to release at least one more major update towards the end of the year (Q4 2019). We’ll talk about why it happened if the schedule changed.

Early Access gives us the time we need to gather feedbacks and add all the remaining planned features. Additional suggestions, requests and ideas from the community might further affect the final release date.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Through Early Access, the game will undergo extensive polishing and bug fixing. We've planned enough features and content additions to be added for the final release during development too.

We want the full version of The Tales of Epicton Kingdom to feature additional chapters of content, and new extensive storylines with more language translations made available. During Early Access, we'll ensure a smoother performance experience on all levels to make The Tales of Epicton Kingdom ready for the full release.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version allows you to play the first 20 levels, mainly to experience the general feel of the game. If you're worried about the level of content, we're planning to upload a Demo version that has at least 5 levels in the near future.

The Tales of Epicton Kingdom is still under development and somewhat rough around the edges here and there. Bugs would already be in place and all audio features are currently missing. Do report any glitches to us using any communication channel!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We will be initially pricing the Early Access version at a much lower price point compared to the final version of the game. The price for the full release will likely increase to better reflect the many improvements we were able to make during Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want to make sure that we are able to process your concerns and wishes which would serve as the foundation for the full release. At this stage, we are looking to involve the community in game design decisions as much as possible. We also encourage any bug reports or other playability issues to us on the Steam Discussion board.”

• Casual games (incomplete) throughout the adventure will be unique and challenging that will test a variety of abilities in order to progress.

More and more refugees are being admitted to the great city, Epicton Kingdom from the neighbouring villages.
Word was spreading through the kingdom that the pigs they have left to breed on their own had mutated and started attacking and chasing after the human beings.
There were rumours of pigs living not far outside of the kingdom so the King sent out a small search party to investigate.
