“We want to find out if our vision for Model Railway simulator is shared by railway modellers & gamers. We need to get project going ahead from Day 1 in order to achieve & sustain development momentum.

Creating a game is serious undertaking and we want to make sure our effort & resources will not be expended & committed in vain.

Direct support from current & feedback from prospect users will provide us with much needed resources & information how to best develop our project.”

“12 months”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Planned list of features:

Track & buildings editor [to create own layouts]
Different modes [other than just control trains], for example ability to move goods between different industries
Changing seasons, weather, day/night cycle
Realistic railway equipment: switches, signals
Lights
Steam & smoke

Full version will also include features based on feedback received from Early Access version.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Early Access version allows player to control single locomotive, couple/uncouple wagons & operate switch points.
There is limited functionality implemented into Early Access version, not all models are textured, sounds & effects are very limited.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. Full version will be more expensive then Early Access version”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want to create game that will bring the best of railway modelling - variety of locomotives & rolling stock, buildings & structures, addictive gameplay and unique look & feel of model railway.

We know there are model railway enthusiasts out there looking to build layouts that wouldn't be possible in real life due to physical & time constraints it takes to build one. We are reaching to them through community forums, further down the line also through railway modelling clubs, model railway events & hobby magazines.

Once on board we'll get them involved in development through dedicated communication channels.

Get feedback. Implement. Iterate.”

THIS IS VERY EARLY VERSION OF THE GAME INCORPORATING ONLY BASIC FEATURES - running single locomotive, coupling/uncoupling wagons, operating switch points.
