What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“LithoBreak is a systems-heavy game, and the project is currently being rebuilt around a clearer first-site loop. Early Access lets us keep development public, get feedback from players who enjoy experimental engineering games, and make sure the game grows around systems that are actually understandable and fun to use.

The current priority is not adding every long-term feature at once. It is making the first site work: survival around the starting foothold, console interaction, site placement, construction, resources, production, and visible improvement.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“LithoBreak will remain in Early Access until the first-site loop is stable, readable, and worth building on. We do not want to promise a date that would push the project back into overbroad scope.

The immediate milestone is a playable first-site slice. After that, we can make more reliable calls about broader automation, exploration, multi-site play, story, and long-term progression.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The long-term vision for LithoBreak is a science-driven industrial survival game where players grow from one damaged foothold into dependable moon industry. Planned direction includes deeper material processing, more meaningful part quality and wear, stronger construction and repair loops, richer automation, exploration beyond the first site, and eventually broader site networks.

Those are goals, not promises about the current build. The current public focus is narrower: rebuild the first-site loop and make it honest, playable, and extensible.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access build is in an experimental rebuilding phase.

Right now, players can breathe in the small air volume around the starting console, start up the console, place down a site, place a mixer, and inspect the mixer UI.

Construction is not working yet. Production is not working yet. Broad exploration, co-op play, orbital gameplay, and the full site loop are not ready in the current public build.

The immediate development focus is reconnecting construction, resources, production, and survival readability so the first site becomes a real playable loop again.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Pricing may change as LithoBreak grows and more of the long-term game becomes playable. We will try to communicate any pricing changes clearly before they happen.

For now, the price should be understood as support for a rough Early Access project in active redevelopment, not as the price of a finished factory-builder.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Player feedback is most useful when it is grounded in the current build. Right now, we are especially interested in feedback on the first-site rebuild: console startup, site placement, equipment placement, UI clarity, oxygen/survival readability, and moments where the game appears to promise construction or production before those systems are ready.

We post public updates around the full moon, use Steam news and Discord for progress notes, and use player feedback to decide what needs to become clearer, more stable, or more honest next.”

About This Game

LithoBreak is a science-driven industrial survival game about rebuilding from a damaged foothold on a hostile moon.

The long-term dream is a game where first-person survival, console-driven site command, material science, part wear, automation, and exploration grow from one fragile site into a wider industrial network. The current Early Access build is much smaller than that. We are rebuilding the first-site loop in public and keeping the store page aligned with what players can actually try.

Why Follow Development

LithoBreak is being developed openly, with public updates tied to the full moon. Some updates are builds. Some are devlogs. Some are small steps that reconnect one system at a time.

Join in now if you want to support an experimental engineering-minded survival game while it is being rebuilt, give feedback on the first-site loop, and watch the larger promise become playable piece by piece.

If you want a polished, complete factory-builder today, you should wishlist.

Build & Explore

Explore an open lunar landscape in first-person as you stake out the perfect location for your base. Construct your buildings using modular hexagonal building pieces, shaping sprawling factories and outposts to your liking. As meteor showers rain down and the VECS threat grows, your sturdy structures double as shelter – keeping operations safe while you expand.

Automate & Adapt

Master automation to thrive in this unforgiving environment. Design efficient conveyor systems and processing machines to handle resources while you focus on the big picture. Every machine is built from parts that wear down over time – craft higher-grade components to extend their lifespan, and replace damaged parts to keep production running smoothly. Adjust your factory and strategies to survive the challenges of deep space.

Key Features

  • First-Person & Top-Down Building: Switch seamlessly between immersive first-person exploration and a strategic top-down view for construction.

  • Modular Construction: Design your buildings piece by piece with snap-together hex modules to shape custom factories and fortifications.

  • Innovative Transport Systems: Utilize automated rovers and design flexible conveyor networks to transport resources across your colony and streamline production.

  • Material-Based Durability: Craft parts from various resources – higher quality materials mean longer-lasting components.

  • Part Wear & Repair: Machinery wears out over time – store spare parts to keep your operations running smoothly.

Join us as we strive to reclaim independence from corporate oppressors and shape the future of deep-space survival. With each stage, LithoBreak grows closer to the ultimate vision of science-driven exploration, cooperative building, and emergent storytelling.
