Varför Early Access?

“'The Sphere of Abyss' is a project that grew up in Green Light. It's also a game selected by the community. From Green Light till now, we have received lots of feedback from community. It plays a vital role in the follow-up development of our game. We still hope to maintain this mode of growth in the community. Our game has not been developed yet, there are still too many elements we want to add. Before we reach the perfect product in our hearts, we want to listen to more suggestions from community and complete the development journey together. This is why we choose Early Access. Growing up with players is our wish.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“According to our plan, it will last for more than two years before the official version, depending on the community's expectations of our game, so we will spend more time to achieve the functions most players want to see.”

“During the Early Access, we will complete the unfinished elements of the game as planned, including more characters, weapons, treasures, NPC, enemies, new stage, and so on. We also plan to add more modes, such as limited challenge mode and more kinds of leaderboards. In the official version, we will adjust the core functions of the game according to the feedback from the community. In addition, we plan to add survival factors and a novel online mode, and we will perfect the story.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“With the feedback from the community, the completeness of our game has been higher under the current core game mechanic. There are many Roguelike elements in the game, such as randomly generated maps, treasures, equipment, enemies, etc., and players can explore 6 completely different levels under the influence of day and night alternation and random weather and disasters. 5 characters with unique skills and perks are available for players to choose and unlock. 245 kinds of weapons, equipment and treasures constitute an infinite combination for players to play. Of course, there are 70 kinds of enemies and bosses with different behaviors waiting for players to challenge. These are the main parts of the current game content. There are still more contents that need players to experience by themselves.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“We have no plans to change the price of official version at present. We will evaluate the content of the game and the feedback from the community before we release the official version, and combine the functions and status of the game to decide whether to change the price or not.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“Over the years of development, we have collected a lot of amazing suggestions from community. This is our current development model. After we released the Early Access version, more players will participate in it, and we can better maintain this model. Formally, we are better at using voting and collecting most similar feedback as a reference for our game development. The more players participate in it, the more accurate our statistics will be, and the more functions we can create will satisfy most users. So we are looking forward to more community members sharing their great ideas with us, and eventually we can create a game that everyone can enjoy.
