What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“First of all we need the feedback of amazing people like you, because we want to make Tank Maniacs the best damn party game that ever was. Secondly we have a lot of other features, game modes, tanks and maps in the works that we want to include in the final version of the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It mostly depends on the feedback you give us during this period. We are planning on releasing the game on Steam Early Access in Q2 2019. But, you know... Developers.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to continuously keep adding new content, including maps, tanks, and game modes.

And of course other quality of life features are planned as well, such as an in-game settings menu and deeper customisation options for matches.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We are currently testing our core features. This includes:

  • 11 wonderfully weird tanks
  • 7 different maps (we are continuously adding more during the beta)
  • 2 game modes
  • couch madness up to 4 players
  • support for a wide range of controllers
  • unforgiving AI bots

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Price will not change when we leave Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Your feedback is really appreciated! We believe in transparent and honest communication. This is why we have implemented in-game feedback system and you can hang out with us at our official Discord server: https://discord.gg/tankmaniacs
