Varför Early Access?

“We've built Polterguys as a multiplayer sandbox that we can use to make any number of cool modes, costumes, powerups and arenas. We've made what we believe is a fun core game mode, but we know the game has much more potential, and we want your help to make that happen. Early access will help us fund ongoing development, and hopefully the community we build will want to be part of the journey and enjoy trying out new things, and sharing ideas of their own they want to see in the game.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“We think the game will be in early access for between 6 months to 1 year. We think...”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“At the moment we expect the final release to have 12 or so arenas, with 5 polished and addictive game modes, and at least 32 'costumes'. We're hoping the community wants to be involved in shaping the final game, and so this is just a starting point. You can have your say in what we should be adding to the early access content to make this a final product.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“The Early Access version consists of 1 polished game mode (last PG standing), 4 completed arenas, and 12 possessable 'costumes' that can be collected, upgraded and used in different ways to fight it out. It has a 'lab' feature, which we will turn on regularly to share WIP content to play with your and get your feedback, so we can make the final game that you want to play! The game is quite well optimised, but we will do more to support lower end devices as we go.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“Our current plan is to offer early access at a discount, and then have the final game be slightly more expensive to reflect the contents we'll add during early access.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“Yes 100%!! We want to hear all your ideas, advice and feedback! Each week we will activate Professor Conical's Lab... here you can access WIP levels, costumes and game modes to try before they are polished. We hope you can help us find what's worthy of more development, and help set our roadmap for what we should be polishing to add to the early access, and in due course the full game. We have new content that is currently being made, to keep the early access fresh and interesting, but over time we expect to be guided by the community of what we should be working of, via. feedback on our lab-days. We also plan to stream a play-with-the-devs once a week, and ad-hoc development streams if you are interested in how the sausage is made!”
