Miksi Early Access?

Early access is a good fit for Aqua Rally so that the developer can get players feedback and suggestions for new features to help shape the game as the development progresses. Also, early access might help build a fan base for the final release while providing input from racing game audience.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

Roughly 3 months (estimating).

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The full version will have

Eight tracks new creatures and traps.
Steam achievements and online leader board for each track so that players can compete for title worldwide.
Performance optimizations and graphical improvements along with any bug fixes as they pop up.
For players with game controllers plans are in the works to implement dual shock functionality.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The current version is fully playable in both single and online multiplayer modes. There are four completed tracks (with four more to come) and eight unique boats to choose from that each with different attributes. The game supports both xbox controllers and keyboard. There are options for difficulty, steering sensitivity and sound.

The price will increase once the full version is released.

I'm hoping that users provide feedback on the Steam Discussion board and give suggestions for new features/tracks so that development can be tailored to what players want to see in the game.

Aqua Rally is a unique boat racing game that pits both players and the track itself against you in a cut throat competition for the lead. Choose from eight unique watercraft each with their own advantages and weaknesses such as maneuverability, size, weight, drag and horsepower. Race the Grand Prix touring each track, a single exhibition race were you choose the number of laps and opponents, or race online and play your friends for bragging rights. Pick up items along the way to help give you an edge on the competition. Target seeking rockets blast your rivals out of the way, sea-mines and oil drums can be used to sabotage would be overtakes and jet engines will give you an added boost on straightaways. Stay on your toes as anything could happen to cost you the lead, from giant slap happy cephalopods, fire breathing dragons, whirlpools, falling rocks and more there's a hazard around every corner that could set you back in this one of a kind anything can happen racing experience.
