Magic Borderless v0.93 Update: Two Major Updates Wtihin A Day?!

Hello again! :lunar2019piginablanket:

If you have missed the update notes for v0.92, we encourage you to check them out as it adds Exclude option for apps:
How have you guys and girls been? It's been... a day since our last major update!

That's right. We are adding something cool this update called a search function. As your configured app list grows in size, we figured you may have hard time looking for the app.

Here we are with v0.93 with a search function that can help you become even lazier! No need to scroll through your configured apps anymore. Let's just search it.

v0.93 Update Notes
  • Borderless magic became so much smarter that it even works so well with some tricky games like GZDoom.
  • Added a search function for the configured apps list.
  • Added a counter that shows the number of excluded apps.
  • Added support for stingy games who are so protective of themselves that it wouldn't let us touch them. We taught Magic Borderless how to give them some space and still communicate with them.
  • Fixed crashes with stingy games.
  • Fixed default settings changing when quick-add was used in the session.

Magic Borderless v0.92 Update: New Exclude Feature!

Hello gamers! :lunar2019piginablanket:

First, we would like to thank everyone who has helped us find bugs and crashes from the forums.

With v0.92, we are adding a new feature that allows you to exclude any apps so they NEVER show up on the list again. Don't worry, we're also adding a small toggle to help you see excluded apps if you ever want to reverse your decision.

v0.92 Update Notes
  • Added Exclude option in the right-click context menu. You can exclude any apps you never want to see in the list again.
  • Added a toggle in the Preference menu to show excluded apps just in case you miss them so much.
  • Apps being customized with Default Settings no longer save sessions until you press confirm.
  • Expired windows no longer show up in the list.
  • Active windows are pushed to the top of the configured list.
  • Removed some overly redundant checks.
  • Fixed apps being configured from default settings changing the default setting.
  • Fixed a crash when an app exits too early.

Update Notes since v0.90
  • Improved live windows seeking algorithm to exclude invisible windows and hidden "suspended" Windows Store apps.
  • Improved window resizing. This may improve compatibility with more games, but depending on how the games were coded they may or not may not look distorted on games that preciously didn't support hotspot window size switches.
  • Added a note on custom window sizes as some apps do not support them.
  • Window resizing no longer depends on "borderless" option being on.
  • Taught Magic Borderless to stop freaking out on minor issues and crash like a noob.
  • Fixed a crash when the app is launched with invalid settings.
  • Fixed crashes when maximized option was turned off.
  • Fixed width & height options not working at all.
  • Fixed a minor memory leak. This may or may not have fixed our app becoming the largest memory horde in the history of pigs. Please let us know!
  • Fixed typos in English texts. Nobody in the studio read "Awway" and thought it was wrong.
  • Eliminated a few more potential memory leak causes.
  • Fixed a crash when some apps were terminated unconventionally.
  • Further improved stability.
  • Fixed a tiny bug no one knew about because it was so tiny.
  • Fixed Magic not being applied when the app enters a deepsleep mode (usually minimized to tray).
  • Enabled crash logger for internal crashes as well.

“This is literally the only app the gamers truly need!”
My brother

About This Software

Experience the responsive windowed gaming ON FULLSCREEN SIZE without the ugly borders!

Magic Borderless is an application to help gamers play games on fullscreen windowed without the ugly borders. Windowed mode gaming lets gamers instantly switch to other windows in the same computer while they are dead (because they suck) or waiting on loading screens, without having to see Windows go ape nuts when alt-tabbing. Some games even crash when alt-tabbed!

The app tries to help you be as lazy as possible and do the work for you as much as possible... for free*! *(Well, after you pay for the app.)

Extra helpful features are also added to assist gamers when it comes to managing windows on their monitors, such as Ninja Mode where it allows you to hide and mute a window for... um, science!

Automatic Fullscreen Detection

When you run your game on exclusive fullscreen, Magic Borderless can detect it. If this feature is enabled, it will ask you if you wish to apply the borderless magic. When the magic is applied for the first time, all you have to do is set your game to run on windowed mode once. Magic Borderless will take care of the rest automatically every time the game launches. You can also set to apply magic without asking you on new apps.

Improved Borderless Algorithm

There are different ways to make a window borderless, but all of them often has trouble resizing window properly or suffer from graphical errors. Magic Borderless has improved code to combat these issues for you and will work on even more games!

Customizable Additional Magic

Besides making your favorite games borderless, you can also set the game to run on a specific window size or simply maximize to your monitor's resolution. If you wish to keep your Taskbar up, you can also toggle it to make sure the window does not hide the Taskbar.
Some also prefer their borderless windowed mode to behave like real fullscreen apps (minimize the window on alt-tab). For those weirdos, you can set the Alt+Tab behavior to minimize the window.

Ninja Mode: Instant Hide and Mute

By pressing [Alt] + [X], you can activate Ninja Mode on your currently active window. This will not only completely hide them from taskbar and among opened windows, it will also mute that particular window only!
This feature is also available to Alt+Tab behaviors for any games you configured!

Cursor Lock

Some noob developers forgot to add cursor lock to their games on windowed mode (or they believed it is how they should behave). If you don't like this behavior, no worries! Magic Borderless can lock your cursor to that window OR the monitor (for our beloved multi-monitor users).
