Oohh Civilization. So much to be said about it. Been playing this series since Civ 2 and got thousands and thousands of hours in this series. Do you like strategy games and have you never played Civ? Buy it now! Forget Civ: Beyond Earth. Civ 5 is THE turn based strategy game, even after 6 years. With Civ 6 upcoming, this is still worth the buy!

This game really makes you feel like a leader of an empire, where your choises matter for thousands of ingame years. Something most other games of the same genre lack in this broad way. Build The Great Library early game for a boost in science or get some settlers out for a second city..? It all matters in the grand scheme of things. Maybe your neighbour looks like he wants to take your city, or maybe the whole world hates you because you're a warmongerer.

Every game is different, feels different, begins different and ends different. So the replayability is endless.

Just buy it already.

Civilization V allows you to re-imagine history as a game, whether as you are creating an alternate variation of the real world or a totally fictional one. While it is not as realistic or detail oriented as some other games, it is just abstracted enough to trigger your imagination, and without sacrificing any of the fun.

While the balancing is not perfect, the game provides plenty of tools and strategies to play in different ways. And although the combat can be a little tedious, it's not a problem if you are a peaceful infrastructure player like me.

I installed mods and played as Gabe Newell.
By 640 BC, countries were buying my jeans and pop music.

Oh, and I also completed the Manhattan Project.

Ah civilization. The game where 5 minutes can turn into an hour, where an hour can turn into two hours, where two hours can turn into four hours. This game will leave you thinking "just one more turn and i'll save and quit" but you sit for 50 or more turns. It can become a bit boring but at the same time fun as you mess up history by making Alexander the Great of Greece become the world leader in 2750 or Napoleon of France being the first person to launch a rocket into space. One thing i've learned from playing civ v is to NEVER trust ghandi when he has nukes -_-

Alright time to play Russia!

Saturday, 7:00PM
Nice, I got the Ottomans, Arabia, India, and I in an alliance.

*2 liter Mountain Dew bottle halfway gone*

Saturday, 8:00PM
Holy ♥♥♥♥ Poland stop trying to take future Russian land.

Saturday, 8:15PM
I'll ask them to stop settling near me.
Alright they said they'll stop.

Saturday, 8:20PM
*Takes land near me*

Saturday, 8:30PM
Great success. Now Poland and I are at peace after he asked me for peace.

"Rome has declared war on Casimir III"
"The Ottomans have declared war on Casimir III"
"Arabia has declared war on Casimir III"
"France has declared war on Casimir III"

Saturday, 11:00PM
*Mountain Dew 2 liter fully empty* *Gets another from the fridge.*

It's the 1500's and I already have people wearing blue jeans and listening to pop music in Portugal.
Litterally every other Civilization has only Medieval Era and below units while I have Industrial Era units.

Sunday, 1:00AM
Alright now I gotta keep doing ♥♥♥♥ and keep helping everyone out and I'll win for su-AND IT'S DARK OUTSIDE MY WINDOW.
