“We expect the game to be in Early Access for at least one year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Chainmonsters has been designed to be an continuously expanding world with new areas, Chainmons, quests, story plots and completely new gameplay mechanics over time.

During Early Access/Open Beta we are offering the first full island of the game, the first five story chapters and a wide range of quests, events and more. All base game mechanics are fully implemented and will be fine tuned and expanded with your help!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is currently available as a playable Closed Beta version and has been in development for 3+ years.
We have limited functionality available for our core systems including:
- Realtime multiplayer
- Quest system
- Dialogue/Story/Scripting system
- Player vs Player battles
- Player vs Environment (wild encounters)
- 36/151 unique Chainmonsters
- First out of 8 islands in the initial release cycle
- A continuously expanding open world experience
- Combo/Chain battle mechanics
- PvP
- Cross-Platform realtime multiplayer between Steam and iOS/Android

The world of Chainmonsters is filled with beautiful and handcrafted areas, lots of unique Chainmons, interesting characters and hidden secrets. Use fast travel to get from one point to the other quickly and invite your friends into your very own personal island, full of customization!

Story-based campaign. Join the N-Corp agents and discover the mysterious disease that is affecting Chainmons across the land.
