If you're a fan of point'n'click adventures: This is your game series.

+ Amazing writing/dialouges
+ Lovely animated and sophisticated characters/background stories
+ Adult humor
+ Great Story development/excitement curve
+ Awesome voice acting
+ Additional "Behind the Scenes" material and commentary
+ Convincing all-over-atmosphere
+ Fitting music

The story can get quite emotional without relying on heavy romances.
The games are still more of a detective story involving ghosts, personal
tragedies, intrigues, murder and envy.

The series is easily one of the best modern point'n'click productions and
you can really feel the commitment and engagement that was used to produce these games.

If you liked this series, you will probably also like other games from Wadjet Eye:
- Gemini Rue
- Resonance
- Primordia
- The Shivah

Wrapped this one just now. Lovely game and a massive improvement over the two earlier games, the dev said himself that he spend a 2-3 months on previous games, and this one took almost two year.

You still need to play the earlier games first, else the story won't make any sense, and this is very much a story driven game. Puzzles are almost non-existent, with most of game time being spent either on conversation or cutscenes.

Artwork is still 320x240, but it looks simply stunning, very much on par with late Sierra games (too realistic to compare with LucasArts output). Music is great as well, main motif gets arranged into various, mostly jazzy tunes. Only low point was the ending nu-rock song, which completely didn't fit the rest of the game.

Commentary mode has ~30 minutes of content, but I must say, I'd prefer if it wasn't as much focused on voice acting - roughly half of the entries deal with stories about that.

This game has a really high quality production value, especially for an indie title. As with the two previous games the characters are charming and appealing, amazing voice acting and very solid writing. The graphics were wonderfully upgraded, so looks way better while still maintaining the style that defines the series. The puzzles aren't really challenging, so that might be a negative to some people. The music is really lovely, and I think one of the game's strongest points. Another great ghost story, highly recommended.

Summary:
A chance meeting at a gallery viewing leads Rosa Blackwell and her partner, Joey Mallone, to investigate several success stories and their relation to a recent string of murders.
The game takes place 6 months following the conclusion of Blackwell Legacy.

Pros:
- Many puzzles are innovative and fun. Introduces the use of e-mail and expands upon the use of dialogue trees seen in Blackwell Unbound.
- Ties to Blackwell Unbound and several real-life figures to create an intriguing plot that spans two games.
- The game's supporting cast is charming and contribute to both the puzzles and the underlying plot.
- Game has a fitting soundtrack with several pieces of outstanding music.
- Most of the voice acting is good.
- Game has multiple solutions to several minor plot events.
- Game has voiced developer commentary, gag reels, sound test, and concept art.

Cons:
- Bland tutorial case. Game is weak until investigation fully begins.
- Parts of the later investigation feel tacked on.
