“The power of a community and its feedback is no secret, and Versus World is no exception. Being a multiplayer FPS developed by a sole developer, it craves the attention of others and their valuable input, and the bots aren't smart enough to offer feedback. Early Access gives me the ability to put it in the hands of others, while allowing me the time to get it done right.”

“The game is fully playable with multiplayer and single-player versus AI bots. Players can host and join public or private game lobbies. The following features are currently implemented:
  • 3 unique maps, and another smaller version of one
  • 3 unique game modes (Deathmatch, Siege, and Heatmatch) with several variants, both FFA or Teams
  • 7 weapon types
    • Assault Rifle (Burst fire)
    • SMG
    • Shotgun
    • Sniper
    • Rocket Launcher
    • Assault Rifle (Full auto)
    • Pistol
  • Item boxes that give you a random grenade or power-up
  • 4 grenade types
    • Frag grenade
    • Sticky spike grenade
    • Tesla grenade (shocks nearby players)

To assume all mechanics are perfectly balanced, and there's no more cool features to think of is insane, and I hope to hear all about it from you.

Also, with the addition of key community features (map editor, game variants, mods), those that want to go even deeper into the creative process will have the tools to do so.”

Shoot, stab, snipe, and 'splode your opponents to victory in this fast-paced multiplayer FPS. Here, the afterlife of a respawning immortal is seasoned by an up-down crouch.

Spin the reel!
Collect item boxes on the map to give you a random power-up or grenade.

Get Locked In
  • Play online against others, and/or take on AI bots.
  • Play classic deathmatch game types, or choose Siege to tug-o-war over capture points.
  • Heatmatch game type: Get kills, earn medals, and deal damage quickly to increase your heat index.
  • 3 unique maps: Rogi Park, Web Island, and Meta World
  • 7 weapon types, 4 grenade types, and 6 power-up types
