What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“This is our first multiplayer game and some of its aspects are still not perfect.
By entering Early Access and listening to the community’s voice we can shape our game exactly to the gamers’ liking.
In the EA phase we will be able to optimize Rig or Skill mechanics in a way we wouldn’t be able to in the finished version.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Three to four months. The modular structure of our game allows for quick changes.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We want to expand the online leaderboard and create an advanced clan system.
We are going to double the number of avatars, skins and single-player puzzle levels.
We will also create a new main menu so it’s both more intelligible and better looking.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At the moment the game is in the late beta stage.
Players can duel with each other and with AI.
There is a functional online leaderboard and players can customize their profiles and avatars as well as level up their profiles.
We also have about 20 puzzle levels finished.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, Rig or Skill is and will always be free to play.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We see this is a great opportunity for us to listen to what the community has to say about our game.
We look forward to discussions on Steam, Discord and Facebook.”

A week of skillin’ the rigs

It's been a week since we launched the Rig or Skill testing program or Early Access, as the Steam platform likes to call it. We would like to thank all the participants who made the wise decision to begin making preparations for the dangerous times ahead. The apocalypse will not wait for humanity to get ready. We need to start training right now. That's why, knowing rogue AIs are starting to battle each other for superiority, we launched the simulation early. We urge everyone to take part in the virtual battles, as it's now more relevant and more important than ever to stay on our toes and watch attentively for the first signs of the AI rebellion.

We're also positively grateful for all the feedback you are sharing with us. We're still working very hard on Rig or Skill: PC Brawl; fixing bugs and adding more exceptional training features that will help you gain the skills necessary when battling rogue AI that are trying to vanquish humankind. Your opinions and observations are worth more than your weight in gold – as they may help to save thousands of people.

We made a few small changes lately, that you should hear about:

1. The game automatically checks if the newer version is available. The player is informed if he needs to update the game.
2. We eradicated some typos.
3. The game remembers now when the player turns Mr PC off in the options.

Please excuse us, as we must go back to scouring your e-mails, updating features and optimizing the game to your heart’s content.

The end is nigh. Stay safe, friends.

Balancing the Rigs

Thanks to your feedback, we're able to fight off the rogue AI's sabotage once again! This time we fixed some minor issues which, we hope, will make our apocalypse simulation program a bit more enjoyable for you, brave people.

The list of changes is as follows:

1. The AI is much more balanced now!
2. We fixed the issue with prizes awarded after a match being a bit unclear for the players.
3. AI won't be able to spawn units on "stains" anymore.
4. Disappearing FPS counter is no more.
5. In some instances the buttons from the menu screen stayed even after entering the match. That one's fixed as well!
6. The sound balance is more balanced than not.
7. Mr. PC got a bit less annoying.

We're looking forward for more feedback guys! Please remember, that the humanity's survival is at stake here!
