1. Viewing angle switch: Players can switch the viewing angles by clicking middle mouse button for keyboard users or pressing L3 button for controller users (still under testing).

Version 0.9.4 Update (2018/1/24)

New Functions

1. Companion revival function: Players can revive dead companions in 1 minute after the death by consuming golds, and the revived companions will be transported to the character controlled by players; the corresponding keys for keyboard users are “O” and “P”, and for joystick users are “Y” plus “← and →” arrow key.

2. Steam Achievements (still under testing): Current available Achievements includes “Story mode Chapter 1 completed”, “Story mode Chapter 2 completed”, “Level 25 of Tower of Trials completed”.

Bugs Fixed

1. Scene object errors in Chapter 2 stages are fixed.

2. The display errors of certain buff and debuff icons are fixed.

3. The bug of abnormal treasure chest items in stage 2-3 is fixed.

4. The corresponding key error for joystick users to enlarging mini-map is fixed (change to the “Up” arrow key).

“Tower of Trials” Mode:

“Tower of Trials” Mode:

After players complete Chapter 1 of the main story mode, “Tower of Trials” mode will be available.

Players can enter the Tower through the teleportation circle at the bottom-right corner of the town. In this mode, the levels, equipment, Monster Gems of the characters are separate from those of the main story mode. Players must start from the first level, and proceed to the next level by killing all the enemies in the level.

After completing one level, character level will increase by 2, and several silver coins are provided for players to purchase equipment or exchange for Monster Gems. In “Tower of Trials”, those Monster Gems equipped cannot be removed. Making good use of those bonus buffs from rare Monster Gems is one most important thing to challenge this mode.

Be careful. Once failed in “Tower of Trials”, your character status will return to the default, and you have to start all over again. Still, you can exit the Tower and save in advance.

After completing challenges at higher levels, you will acquire some unique and powerful equipment or rewards!

* The character used in Tower of Trials is the one chosen as the captain (the one you control manually) in main story mode. Once you change the character, you will need to start from the beginning.

The story of Falsus Chronicle: Ancient Treasure takes place just 10 years after the story of Falsus Chronicle: Forgotten Child... Somewhere in Kingdom of Rista, a piece of ancient tablet was unearthed… thus the serenity between Kingdom of Rista and the nearby Rosenberg Grand Duchy was broken. Our main character, Sir Emil Adams, as a famous archaeologist and inventor, is heading for a ruin at the periphery of Kingdom of Rista for an investigation due to a commission from Rosenberg Grand Duchy. However, this “simple academic investigation” he thought to be has force him involve into an unpredictable storm which is hidden a deeper evil conspiracy…


During the explorations, Emil will encounter various enemies, players must make good use of the Monster Gems, which are looted from the beaten monsters, to boost character abilities, infuse battle buffs, even upgrade certain skills. No matter you are a player prefers physical attack, magical attack, high critical chance or an atypical melee wizard styles, you can always shape a style according to your preference.
