This game is awesome. 10/10

It does, however, have some bad technical issues and as such requires a very fast computer to run. Despite that however, there are only a few bugs and this is definitely the best 3d sonic game thus far, barring the sonic stages from SADX/maybe SA2. Even if you can't run this, I beg you to pick up a copy on the 360, however I wouldn't recommend it otherwise as this game has a large and awesome modding community that greatly expands the game's length with level mods.

Oh, and the Unleashed Project should have a permanent home on your hard drive.

Rolling around at the speed of sound
Got places to go, got to follow my rainbow
Can't stick around, have to keep movin' on
Guess what lies ahead, only one way to find out

Must keep on movin' ahead
No time for guessin', follow my plan instead
Trusting in what you can't see
Take my lead, I'll set you free

Follow me - set me free - trust me
And we will escape from the city
I'll make it through
Follow me - set me free - trust me
And we will escape from the city
I'll make it through, prove it to you
Follow me

Danger is lurking around every turn
Trust your feelings, got to live and learn
I know with some luck that I'll make it through
Got no other options, only one things to do

I don't care what lies ahead
No time for guessin', follow my plan instead
Find that next stage no matter what that may be
Take my lead, I'll set you free

Follow me - set me free - trust me
And we will escape from the city
I'll make it through
Follow me - set me free - trust me
And we will escape from the city
I'll make it through, prove it to you

Sonic generations is the best sonic game ever made cause of having 2 sonic with the modern and the good old classic sonic. The graphics itself is outstanding how fun it is to race to the end of the stage. But when playing as the modern sonic the music of all the stages have a nice remix and for the classic sonic it was nice to bring back the old classic sonic theme for the 2 stages like green hill and chemical plant stages. The classic sonic acts have a nice sidescrolling action to it but for the modern has a nice fast pace why trying to get to the end. Over all Sonic generations is a great game that brought the best sound track, bosses, and the good old stages from the past sonic games

People may like to hate on the modern Sonic games (and usually for good reason), but Sonic Generations deserves no such hate. This game is an absolute blast for any Sonic fan to play! The game’s premise is you and the yesteryear Sonic the Hedgehog have to rescue all their old worlds they have been to. This means every iteration in the main Sonic line is represented with a level in the game! From Chemical Plant, to City Escape, it’s nice to go back and play all these classic levels.

The gameplay is much improved over the more recent Sonic games so no worries there. The music in the game is spectacular, and I have already downloaded the soundtrack onto my computer. This is actually the second time I have played through Generations and I can assure you it is just as much fun as the first. Only thing I miss is the surprise of which classic level is next.

I recommend any Sonic fan, platforming fan, or video game fan in general to pick this up. I promise you that you will love this game as much as I do!

This is one of the best Sonic games i have ever played. Much better than recent Lost World. Seemingly just typical PC version platformer, this game has everything that made console ports awesome: satisfying gameplay, great visuals, cool atmosphere, catchy music and some of the very best level design franchise had ever had. On top of that, replay value is top notch, and game constantly rewards players after every collectible and bonus level.

Though, all of those bonus levels aren't fun, and bosses are sort of letdown too, weakest area of the game being the story... i mean... bunch of cutscenes. Extra levels have their moments, some of them being equal to main levels, but many also turn out frustrating, gimmicky and boring. Bosses have moments too, but they are mostly just simple gimmicks. Cutscenes are, however, total missopportunity. Also, take note on length, which depends on how much you want to come back to replay game, or beat friends records online. Also, incredibly weak pinball DLC.

What makes this version best, is the fact that good computer runs it on amazing framerate. Mod support deserves big note here, good ones already existing, new amazing ones still coming. And never have mods been so user friendly or safe to use. That alone adresses lenght issue.

Sonic Generations is not just good Sonic game, this is worthy purchase for all those in need of satisfying, arcade-ish platformer. No other series has seen such an significant step-up for sake of anniversary game.
