Why Early Access?

“We have built a solid technical basis but need more time to finish the remaining work with the help of your community feedback.

We have already implemented numerous wishes for improvement from the community and have fixed many reported bugs. At the same time we’re aware that the game still needs some love and time until the final version.

We will introduce more crop variety and the according machines into the game in the future and improve the management area. The simulation of the plant growth needs more balancing. The multiplayer aspect is also of great importance to us which we want to finish until the final version.”

“The Early Access is estimated to last until May 2019.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We’re starting with the maize cycle, which contains all required functions and machines necessary for growing and harvesting maize. In addition we have an employee system that can take on most of the work steps like transportation for example. More crop variety and machines, optimization of the AI as well as the following points will be added in the course of the Early Access phase.

“During the prototype phase of the last months we received a lot of feedback in our own forums and implemented bug fixes and improvements.

We’ll introduce a new public bug tracker in the near future which will collect the bugs from the Steam Community Hub and our website and provide an overview of the reported bugs and what we’re working on at the moment.

Early Access Update Release v0.1.3.0

With the update you can use the new worker system and new machines.

The new worker system now also takes the headland into account, so that most of the turning maneuvers can be performed without leaving the field. We also strongly improved the savegame support for the worker.

If there are no big problems with the new employee, we will subsequently address the topic of multiplayer! At the same time we are working on the gameplay, the physics, the controls and new content for the combine update and the following grassland update.

  • BUG FIX: Problems with collision shapes that partially led to faulty mass centers and suspension behaviour have been fixed. Now the Dammann sprayer can be maneuvered better when it is extended
  • BUG FIX: The bindings of the “+” and “-” keys don’t get lost after the game starts
  • BUG FIX: The Arion now only has one ignition key
  • BUG FIX: The employee now recognizes the reverse gear when he is in a vehicle

Early Access Update Release v0.1.2.1 - Hotfix

With update, the errors of guiding lines within missions have been corrected. We also fixed some problems with the sample mods, they can now be opened in the editor without display errors.

We’re already working on update It contains new features like for example the promised headland worker. The whole thing is being tested internally at the moment and we hope to release it in the course of next week.

Experience the varied everyday life of a farmer. Choose between a story mode or free play. The game also provides additional tutorial missions to make you familiar with the simulation.

Hire employees to cultivate your fields, or to assist you when you’re harvesting. You can delegate tasks with your calendar and watch your employees do their job or take care of the work in front of you on your own. Cattle and Crops provides a complex employee system where the workers take care not to damage the harvest.

Skillfully avoid unnecessary driving tracks on the field to keep soil compaction low so your plants can spread their roots in the loose soil to maximize the yield.

Take care of your crops so don’t hang their heads and make your fields prosper.
Plant growth (using the real BBCH scale) is based on multiple soil attributes like moisture, pH value, temperature, sunshine hours, NPK fertilizer and diseases.

Gather the harvest at the right time and try not to get stuck in the mud when it’s raining.
