Wow, this map requires incredible patience if you are going for the SILENCE IS GOLDEN achievement. There is NO ROOM for error. One mistake and you have to start all over. Well you start from a save point and I believe there are only 2. One after you eliminate the enemies and then grab the explosives. Hopefully all enemies are dead and after you plant the 3rd explosive is your last save point. Then you have to sneak your way out with stealth and hope you hid the bodies well.

This is a map that has been remade from Sniper Elite 1. Beautiful job! The game play is good and other than not having enough save points, it's a pretty good map for what you want to do if again, you are going for that achievement.

Also if you get to a save point, don't end your game. You will not be able to go back to that save point, you'd have to start ALL OVER again from the beginning. So set aside a couple of hours, or maybe 30 minutes, depending on your skill level and play this map.

Buy this on a discount becasue in my opinon, no map is worth $5-6

Similar length to a regular SE2 mission, lots of sniping possibilities and perhaps even a touch too easy with the covering sounds on the regular and easy difficulty.

The M1 carbine is a fun little toy but suffers from massive drop and poor scope power. However in closer-in missions it can be one of the best weapons in the game. With the largest magazine of anything and a quick cycling action it can mow things down.

The Webley... It's a tank gun but reloading takes ages. It's .455 cartridge is devasatingly effective.

All in all it was worth the 1 key I traded for it. Best of the DLCs?

Neudorf Outpost Pack DLC is a really good one, coming with one mission and two weapons.

The mission is pretty much a remake or port of one of the only two missions outside of city in Sniper Elite 1. Layout is pretty much same. You have to come to the base and plant explosives too. Only this time it doesn't force stealth-only, there is no objective to wait for some high-rank to arrive with codebook. Dissapointingly, they didn't put any movie that shows the base exploding at the end of the mission.
It's very different from main campaign. No walls, no linear corridor progression, it's just open field with base at lower ground. No big boom. You can stealth mission from start to finish, possibly without firing a single shot if you are that good. Repeating loud sounds are always there. Actually, you should stealth it, it's most fun this way.
That, or you can just snipe everybody from the distance and fight on. There is enough space for such fun, though mission will end quickly and not exactly eventful this way.
Protip: AI isn't fooled by bushes. Since I don't think that such map with such bushes were in campaign.

It also comes with new sniper rifle and revolver. M1 Carpine's feature is that it can hold 15 ammo in a clip. You can guess that everything else about is balanced to be worse. Webley revolver on other hand is a beast. It can one-shot enemy in campaign. Though it's not silenced weapon, so it's still not go-to choice. I just hope it doesn't wreck multiplayer too, didn't try it there.
