V3 Update

orbt xl - V3
  • Added a new planet “Plumbish”, which now also changes the look of the internal black hole. (also comes with an achievement, which I now know a lot of people don't like when you add achievements, so I will keep this in mind in the future)
  • Improved in-game and store translations for Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Finnish, French, Japanese, Polish and Korean thanks to community help
  • Spacebar can now be used in place of enter for navigating menus as well.
  • Put more checks in place to ensure misclicks/button presses in menus don’t get accepted and cause undesirable effects.
  • Added another check to ensure that buttons could not be resized accidentally by getting stuck in the on position.
  • When starting a round, the spin will now begin at the rotation opposite to the last round played. (unless you just opened the game) This will hopefully help alleviate anyone's room spinning after playing too long :)
  • Added the hidden ability to delete your best high score that is saved by pressing the “Delete” key and “Y” key at the same time when exiting the game and on the "Thanks" screen. (since with cloud save its a lot harder to clear your score if you for some reason need/want to). I will probably implement something better for this in the future.
  • Added another check to hopefully curb some of the fake scores before they’re posted in the leaderboards.
  • The blackhole enemy and change direction enemy now correctly activate the moment they hit the center blackhole, this should allow players better ability to anticipate and react to these enemies effects.

Thank you everyone for playing and sharing the game with your friends and family. If you are enjoying orbt xl, please make sure to leave a brief Steam Review and let others know to check it out. The Steam review system is incredibly important for helping others find my small games.

I read all your comments whether I am able to respond or not, I am always observing and listening to your ideas :)

Thanks for the support!

V2 Update

orbt xl - V2
  • Resolved the issue where sometimes a second planet would incorrectly appear. Also put in checks in case it happens again it can be resolved by going to main menu and starting a new round.
  • Resolved problem where sometimes when clicking the retry button, the whole game would play that round slightly shifted off center.
  • Fixed leader board not being clickable by mouse (It was a capital ‘B’ not a lowercase ‘b’ After all that, that’s all it was. Bloody hell.)
  • Resolved (hopefully) the Resizing issues that occurred when some buttons were clicked in an unusual manner (which can be resolved with a restart of the game if it ever occurs again)
  • Changed a number of in-game, store page, trailer, screenshot, and what felt like a billion other related graphics after a complaint that my graphics were too similar.
  • New Achievement related to near misses :)
  • Fixed some translation in game and all over store page, thanks to community contributors. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you can improve translations for any language :)

Thank you everyone for playing and sharing the game with your friends and family. Thanks so much for the support. If you are enjoying orbt xl, make sure to leave a brief Steam Review and let others know to check it out.

Thanks for the support!

About This Game

This is an 'XL' version of my mobile game 'orbt'. I have added/changed a variety of things to make it more suitable for the Steam platform. I have been learning to make games in my free time and love making small-yet-solid arcade games with simple mechanics. Please expect 'Orbt XL' to be a small, re-playable, arcade score-chaser game where the only basic goals are to constantly beat your previous score and unlock a variety of cosmetic skins. I greatly appreciate feedback and will do my best to ensure support for my games. Please contact me through Twitter, My Website, or the forums if you encounter something wrong with the game, something misleading on the store page, or you just want to say hello.

Thank you for taking a moment to read this; I really hope you enjoy playing my game.

Stay in orbit while avoiding obstacles or being sucked into a black hole. Survive as long as you can while dodging and weaving between the various obstacles, the closer you orbit to the center; the faster you achieve points. The longer you last, the harder it gets. Good Luck and have fun playing with gravity!

Simply pressing the orbt button allows your planet to move away from the black hole, not pressing the button forces your planet to be sucked towards the black hole.
|| Left mouse button || or || Gamepad 'A' || or ||Keyboard Space||

  • Easy to learn, simple one button controls
  • An endless, fast paced and challenging arcade style game play that constantly gets harder
  • Unlock 15 unique planet skins with in game points (cosmetic)
  • 'Near Miss' system that awards extra points for close calls with obstacles.
  • Steam Achievements, Leader board, and Trading cards! (with emoticons & profile wallpapers)
  • Perfect for playing a round while in Queue for another game :)
  • In game translation available in 25 Languages (I did these painstakingly with Google Translate so please tell me if something isn't right)
  • The in game audio/SFX was provided by my mouth making noises into a crumby consumer mic, and some royalty free SFX from FreeSFX.
  • In game song is DJ Chacha - "Cover Trance"

System Requirements

Mac OS X
SteamOS + Linux
    • OS: Windows XP
    • Processor: Dual Core +
    • Memory: 1 GB RAM
    • Graphics: 512MB +
    • Storage: 300 MB available space
    • Additional Notes: If your specs aren't high enough to play this game, you should really consider saving your money and buying a new computer. A decision like that would greatly improve your life in many aspects rather than the couple hours enjoyment you may get from my game. Or whatever, it's your money ;)
    • OS: Windows 10
    • Processor: Octa Core+ (I am just assuming Octa means 8)
    • Memory: 2 GB RAM
    • Graphics: 2x GTX 1080 TI (unless you can have more, then by all means)
    • Storage: 300 MB available space
    • Sound Card: I often wonder if a sound card would make my garbage sounds any better. If I didn't get the sounds from a royalty free site, I just recorded weird sounds and then used a free program to slightly modify them so they sounded less like a dude making strange sounds.
    • Additional Notes: Nobody exists on purpose. Nobody belongs anywhere. We're all going to die. Come play orbt xl.
    • OS: OSX 10.5+
    • Processor: Dual Core
    • Memory: 1 GB RAM
    • Graphics: 512MB at least and nothing over... let's say, five years old

    • Processor: Dual Core
    • Memory: 1 GB RAM
    • Graphics: 512MB +
