Why Early Access?

Ever since we started developing Win That War!, we have been trying as hard as we can to work with the community. Several features have been added or improved thanks to the feedback we received, and your involvement and your passion will help us make Win That War! live up to your expectations.

If you take part in our Early Access, rest assured that we will listen to your opinion, and we will consider it, provided that it matches our vision of the game.

We are convinced that it is really difficult to develop a multiplayer strategy game without the support of a community, as the balancing of the gameplay includes the consideration of all the strategies you will come up with, and the various situations you will experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We estimated that we will need 4 to 6 months, from the start of the Early Access, to achieve the desired level for the v1.0 of the game. This period is bound to change depending on the feedback from the community.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The final version will include more content, which will be added regularly during the Early Access.

For example:

• new biomes
  
• new PVE mechanics PVE
  
• campaign quests

improving the tech tree with:

• stealth technology
  
• force-field
  
• spaceport
  
• hacking
  
• transport ships
  
• strange new weapons

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“As for now, the game can be played through 3 modes:

• quick game against the AI
  
• quick multiplayer game (LAN or online)
  
• massively multiplayer planetary campaigns

Some features of the campaign still need to be implemented, but in the meanwhile, you are in for a good time.

The game is not bug-free, as assuring a good stability level is difficult when the gameplay evolves so quickly. If you encounter any issues, let us know and we will do our best to fix them as quickly as possible.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The first week of Early Access is available with a 25% discount off the final price, as thanks for the players who have been helping us from the beginning to create the best game possible.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“You can keep yourself informed about the development through the Steam community forums, or on our Subreddit, discuss the design of the new gameplay features, and suggest improvements. We wish to remain close to our community, to listen to your feedback, and to explain the decisions we will make.”
