What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“"With great power comes great responsibility" - Uncle Ben, Spider-Man

You know, being a Giant Robot is not easy. Especially in the city... Especially if it's so fun to destroy everything around you... How great is the fact that this is actually our mission and we're making the World a better place and letting people return to their homes!

We've decided to open the game for everyone at very Early stage because it's already fun to play and because now it's like a sandbox for us as developers. We have a lot of ideas but, you know, we just can't deprive you of this pleasure - making game more fun, more crazy and more challenging.

So our keyboards and VR headsets are loaded, we're ready to implement your craziest ideas and robodreams :) Let's make the game better and share it with the whole VR community.

Originally started at Epic Games Mega Jam 2016 with title "Find Professor" (also included in this Steam version).”

Rage against machines

Hi, guys!

Today my report is about one of your requests. A lot of you, players, want more interactive actions with evil tiny robots. Obviously, the situation that you can grab these robots and throw them into the ocean, not enough for you, but it's ok. VRobot team agrees with you, and today our programmer all day long made experiments on robots.

He twisted them, turned them, beat them with strange things, checking whether the impact of the blow was right. Of course, he was happy like a kid who finally got the candy. So, i think, you will get those options very soon. Maybe, there will be even a possibility to tear off arms and legs of those evil robots. Let's give it hot and strong, earthlings!

See you, cheers!

How to move the New York City

Hi, guys!

I continue my anthropological observations of the VRobot team. Previous days i saw how game designer decided that he is an architect. The problem was that Big Black Hole absorbing buildings debris is little bit leftie in the NYC, and therefore the fragments flying in the sky, touch entire buildings around. A typical problem with all lefties, you know.

However, the black hole was "nailed" to its place, so had to move New York. At first, everything was good. But then it turned out that some buildings and structures in the city are also "nailed down," and this was done by a programmer who now has a good time on vacation. So, as a result, it turned out that in New York, residential buildings and office buildings separately on the one part of the city, and roads on which cars move - separately on the other. City planning level God!

Looking for that i advised the designer to stop developing games and go to work in the City Hall of New York, even Robert Moses could not do this to this city.

That's all for today, folk, cheers!
