What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We have been working on both the VR and non-VR version of this game for several months now.
The non-VR demo version is available on gamejolt and but we decided it was long enough wait and needed more people to test what we have done to hopefully improve game play and learn for our next project.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We do not plan on longer than 1 month, the rest of the game is complete so once we iron out the bugs on the first 2 levels the other 2 will just work since the same hotspots and triggers are used everywhere. We also have a little more texturing to do within level 3 and the maze.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The main difference is the inclusion of the Mummy to steal your loot, the addition of the other 2 levels, with a few more puzzles to solve to get all the loot!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Current state...We have all levels logic completed.
Currently the only access is levels 1 & 2 for the current price.
We still need to correct the UI, add an end game, and the mummy then we can release the game and make the minor changes after.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We are only asking for a very nominal amount. We will not be asking for much even when the full game is released, we did not do this for the money, but would be nice to be able to at least pay for the assets we had to purchase in creating the game and maybe to help in the next project we already are planning.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Feedback, feedback and more feedback.
We just ask that they remain somewhat professional.
Please no hate or flame remarks, just be honest. Not all games appeal to everyone.
We will also be looking for a few to help in this development and the next project, MUST HAVE A VIVE to help test!”

2 weeks??

We are aiming to release in the next 2 weeks. Working hard to fix any obvious issues by then. In preparation for this we have now raised it to full price.
If we are not ready we will at least open the rest of the game so you will have the entire game to play while we finialize any remaining issues.

The only thing we are not certain will be complete will be the tutorial level on our game mechanics/controls setup. However we will finish and patch when it is, but we will certainly put up a quick video of how to play though!

Working on:
1) Save/load Currently it does work however the torch is not lit when you reload and it will be totally dark so you can't see to even relight it!
2) BirdGod Now works and flies away if conditions are met however it takes about 3 seconds to do this, we are trying to reduce the time. Also the animation/working of the actual use of the birdgod does not work yet (can't give away the puzzle!)
3) Very minor UI tweaking...Text boxes are small but we want you to get close to objects to examine them..this IS an adventure game after all!
4) Tweak the start game and end game jeep interactions
5) Testing, Testing, Testing! We know there will be problems on release, just let us know and we can fix them! (Or convince you this is a feature instead! hahaha)

Major Update

We know there are still a few issues and we are working on them.
Mainly the Jeep from the outside area to the pyramid interaction, select NEW GAME please...
The BirdGod does not fly correctly
The load game does not work

Now what DOES work?

1) Torch fuel system, you WILL run out, be sure to light braziers and turn the torch off to conserve fuel (Left Trigger). you need a lit brazier to relight the torch!
Each brazier will replenish a small amount of fuel only once.
2) The birdgod now looks like a real bird statue and will fly (eventually)
3) The mummy now appears to steal your treasure! (HINT: after you take the coins, leave the room and return...what has changed...)

Currently levels 3 and Maze are still blocked, once a little closer to release we will open them up (we want the save/load to work properly before opening those levels).

About This Game

Please keep this in mind when commenting. There will be the occasional crash, or object not working correctly and we would appreciate a report on the issue instead of a negative rating so we can have a chance to fix the issue. Also please remember that not all Indie games can afford to create their own assets, we did purchase the majority of ours from Unity Asset Store and gave credit to those artists.

3 of us started out on a website called Indieteamup, from 3 different countries. We picked an engine, Unity, a framework, Adventure Creator, and I had the idea for the game. 2 Months later we had a complete game, just needed the set dressing and texturing for release, then along comes the Vive, 2 of us decide to convert it to VR, and here we are. Please enjoy!

This was a non-VR game we developed that we converted to VR, so please be patient as we change everything for room space play!
This is mainly an exploration game with a few minor puzzles and some treasure to collect. Please enjoy!
(This is not in any way meant to be historically accurate so there will be a mix of hieroglyphics and 'god' images unrelated or completely out of context).
The final release we might package the PC version with it as well, until then if interested in the PC demo please see our gamejolt page.

About to be brought to you by...

Notso Entertaining Productions:

Remember those days long ago when the idea of gaming was only text?
Those adventure games that drove you nuts, typing in 2 words "go north", "Take Torch" etc...
Frustrating you to no end trying to think of the right combination to just open the freakin door!
Well here it is. The chance to actually FINISH one of those games, in true graphical style!
No more 2 word commands, just point and click your commands! (OK, this was for the PC version, which is now in VR so reach out, grab that item and use it!)
This is a graphical remake of the 1978 Tandy game: Pyramid 2000.
(A tribute to the original style games that started it all)
We tried to stay as true to the text as possible, but due to not having a graphic artist we had to make do with what we could and it is progressing nicely!

Hope to see you at the end!
