What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“You can paint on 3D model texture using SteamVR controller. Change brush opacity or size with analog value of trigger. Open any 3D model you have(.obj). And open and save texture image file(.png). Move, rotate, and change scale of model as you want. Warp own position. Undo, redo and spoit function in paint mode.When save and load files, you can use basic explorer window like windows. You can play voxel sculpting in sculpt mode. Select five tools Add, Erase, Increase, Decrease, Smooth. Save and Load Voxel sculpt. Export sculpt to 3D model file(.obj).”

Will this software be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan on changing the Early Access price to reflect the content expansions with each update that brings us closer to full release . We want to be open and transparent with our community , and we'd like to incentivize our fans to buy in early , for the lowest possible price , and stay with us and share their experiences as we grow , and hopefully grow the community along with us !”

Open Subdiv Feature!

Supported OpenSubdiv in polygon modeling.
From low poly model, you can create a smooth, high-definition model and preview nondestructively.
Also added MoveTo command.
Move the selected vertices to the coordinates entered in three modes: relative, absolute (center), absolute (individual).
Numerical input adopts ladder input and it is now possible to enter numerical values ​​intuitively even in VR.

Update Ver0.5.1 May/14/2017

- Supported OpenSubdiv in polygon modeling. By enabling Open Subdiv from the Object menu, the subdivided faces are previewed. You can change the level of Subdiv at Level. Press the "Freeze Open Subdiv" button to convert to mesh the subdivided faces.
- MoveTo command was added to the Vertex command. You can move in three modes, Relative, Absolute (Center), Absolute (Individual), depending on the numerical values you entered. Enter the numerical value with ladder input. For example, This is convenient when you want to align the vertice's X coordinate to 0 when mirroring.

- Several bugfixes

Special update! Polygon modeling feature!

Polygon modeling feature added to the art stage!
You can enjoy the real modeling feature in VR.
Making a model in VR is very intuitive and fun.
you can make from scratch. and also open and edit obj, fbx file.

Main feature
- Move vertices and faces directly in object, vertex, face, edge mode.
- Create multiple objects and manage them in the object panel.

- Create surfaces by hitting vertices directly in VR space with "Create face tool".

- Tutorial videos of Polygon modeling section was added.

- When moving the model by pressing the grip button of the left hand controller, it gets smoothly interpolated.
- The motion of the pointer of the right hand controller now moves interpolated.

- The UI can not be operated unless the application window of Artstage is active.
