What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We're out to build the best VR fantasy action game out there. We have a plan set out, and want to engage the players to hear what mechanics are most fun! When you're working with a close-knit community, the magic happens.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Until first months of 2017”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full game will feature procedurally generated levels, each with a few randomized quests along the way. There will be a few unlockable player classes, all with drastically different skillsets. Players will gain upgrades, sidegrades and skins for classes and their equipment as mission rewards. Along the game, players will also collect "memories" - interactive dioramas that will slowly unravel the story of the world of Trickster and lead up to final conclusion.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game includes two game modes - Adventure Mode, with procedurally generated levels and quests to complete - and Wave Attack, to practice your Orc handling skills. Orcs won't give you an easy time. There are about 8 different enemies, each with individual skillset. The sky arena changes randomly every round so you'll have to move around to have the advantage.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Finished game will have a higher price. Price will increase along the development process with big, game changing updates.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Update early, update often. Get feedback on experimental features as soon as they're ready to roll out. Expand things that shine the most. Don't waste time on stuff nobody uses. That's how we do things around here.”

Update 19 - A Burning Matter

Hey there orc hunters!
In this week's patch we bring you a new challenge to take, some new epic spells and a powerful adversary to test your skills against. Updated post-game stats better show each hero's contribution to the party's success. We've made some powerups much easier to use and fixed some nasty bugs!

See you in the Broken Lands!

Patch Notes
New
  • Added new Post-Game stats. Player's score now also depends on healing done, damaged parried and longest shot that hit the mark.
  • Added new Powerup - Scroll of Meteor. Use this mass destruction device to obliterate everything that stands in your path.
  • Added new Quest - A Burning Matter
  • Added new Enemy - Pyromancer
  • Added Walk Speed adjustment to Settings. Thank you to Dwight Frightening for this suggestion!
Improvments:
  • Powerups can only be grabbed from belt when player is looking at them. This is to prevent accidental grabs.
  • Crossfire crossbows will now automatically refil magazines when their power is activated.
  • Scroll of Cone of Healing is now Scroll of Healing Blast. Instantly heals players within range when cast.
  • Scroll of Healing and Healing Flask will now show healing VFX on targets.
Scroll of Ressurect now automatically targets dead players in the direction it was cast. No need to aim the projectile.
  • Scroll of Conjured Spear now has a little autoaim to help with targeting.
Bugfixes:
  • Fixed a bug where attacking with shield and some off hand weapons would sometimes not work while moving.
Drops will now properly disappear after some time.
  • Fixed dead enemies showing empty health bars after dying on clients
  • Fixed Red Crystal stutter when moving.
  • Fixed Green Shaman spawns in Trimming the weeds quest so they won't get stuck in geometry.
  • Fixed a bug where remote player damage effects could be heard across an entire map.
  • Scroll of Force projectile now regains its missing sound.
