♥♥♥♥ you King Carl! I work my ♥♥♥ off and capture like 5 castles on my own even defend it from people trying to take it back while you sit on your ♥♥♥ and do nothing and you still won't give me a single ♥♥♥♥ing town, castle, or even a village. You give it to some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ who has an army of 60 guys and can't even take care of a ♥♥♥♥ing village let alone a whole ♥♥♥♥ing town town! You guys would be getting mashed into the ground if it wasn't for me, I'm this close from turning cheats on, becoming a rebel and making every castle I deserve mine! I swear to christ if you give another fief to that ♥♥♥♥ing ♥♥♥♥ cunt ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of ♥♥♥♥ Arid Vittenburg or whatever that ♥♥♥♥ing ♥♥♥♥'s name is when I become marshall I'll let someone take your castle and force you to raid your own village!

It's a great game but the king is always a giant prick and he won't give me land which makes me madder than it really should because I don't even care about the money it gives me.

-> Create a rebel movement against the Muscovite kingdom

-> Take over all the Muscovite kingdom castles and towns

-> Grant the fiefs to my fellow rebel lords

-> Get banned from the castles I captured, because these lords are now ♥♥♥♥♥♥ against me

10/10 would grant fiefs again

While not being as good as the main series, WFaS does feature something akin to a story quest experience for three of the major factions, which was a novelty upon release and as of yet, still is. If you like musket warfare and didn't particularly like napoleonic warfare due to too much ranged combat, this might definitely for you, bringing a good mix and a extremely large variety of units.

With Fire&Sword also builds and expands upon the highly regarded combat system from Mount&Blade:Warband. Firearms have been introduced to the battlefield, opening up exciting new play styles and options. Players can also utilize explosives for taking out groups of foes or to breach castle walls. In addition to the enhanced singleplayer mode, With Fire and Sword also provides a host of original multiplayer content including the new Captain Mode which allows players to control their own forces in online matches.

This is a very nice and a heck of an addictive game! It is very much like Warband, but with a few major differences: firearms - drastically changes the combat; grenades - probably the most fun part of the game; realistic world map and city names - makes it a lot easier for the player to connect to the in-game world. But the most important thing for me is that I can hire an army of my ancestors - the Kalmyks.

My god, This game. I cant belive that i missed it when it was released, this game is just pure greatness. I think this is the best mount and blade in the series. Its kinda similar to the last game , Mount and blade : warband, but new addition is improved graphics and Guns. Guns add loads of fun. The combat in this game is best i have ever met, you fire your inaccurate musket or bow from range, and on close combat you try to hit enemy with your sword, and block enemys attacks, if you master the timing, you can easily take down large group of enemies
In singleplayer, you start as a little poor villager, you can Travel around the map, Take quests , trade ,rob caravans, besiege castles and all kind of things. When you start to Get some money and experience , you will start to Get better gear and armor, and buy more army to you. You can ally with factions and conquer the other factions. Its awesome when at start you rob small bandit groups with your Little army of mens recruited from villages, and after some time, you have army of 100 of mens, and you Attack an enemy faction castle along with your Friendly Armies. Singleplayer is like big sandbox, you can just be trader and make loads of profits, you can be bandit and rob caravans, you can create your own faction and conquer lands, or ally with other factions and eliminate others. You can get hours and hours and hours of fun.
This game also has really entertaining multiplayer, first you create the way your multiplayer character looks like, then you hop in the battle. Usually there are about 50 players in same match, other team is defending castle and other is attacking it. You can buy eguiment like better armor with gold, you get more gold when you get kills. There are also classical deathmatch , battle and other game modes. I just love the multiplayer, just the feel is awesome, when musketeers fire their muskets and trowh grenades and trought the smoke charges cavalry who tries to stab foot soldiers, and as the armies meet begins hectic sword play.
Also , this game has really active mod community

I Cant recommend this game enough, get it .. now

Mount and Blade is the secret handshake between PC gamers in the know. It's the last revelation of a secret society. Everything that makes PC gaming great is here. Unique gameplay that would never sell on a console, History nerd heaven, MODS out the Kaiser, and fun mulitplayer.

With Fire and Sword is also an amazing entry in the series. The new weapon types shake up gameplay in wonderful ways. The setting is unique for players too. If you are not playing any of the Mount and Blade series, you aren't living properly.

I would say that With Fire and Sword may not be the perfect introduction to the series for a new player. Warband, then Napoleonic Wars will acclimate you to this game.

10/10, be a slav and squat around the amazing land of virtual slavland, its the fun of slavland but without the cold weather, track suits, and angry russian teenagers

I am surprised more than 3 people rated this comment. Anyway this game may not be for everyone due to hard difficulty and starting out may be slow, but other than that the game is very fun and it is rather refreshing seeing a game which can be entertaining as hell and historically educational.

Main questline is somewhat lazy and kind of disappears. Game has less content than some free community made mods yet costs 10 dollars for some reason. The Eagle and the Radiant Cross or it's submod have probably the same amount or more of content and is completely free. There's also a wide variety of mods that go above and beyond like Gekokujo, Floris, Pendor, Brytenwalda, Anno Domini, and much more yet this expansion doesn't really seem to bring anything to the table like the other two expansions. Very uninteresting map, lacks detail and makes the eastern european theme very drab. All in all not really worth buying imo. Napoleonic Wars and Viking Conquest are far superior expansions while this just feels like a community mod. If it was made by a fan I'd give it a 8/10, but since its made by taleworlds and charges money, more like a 5/10 in my opinion.

I have over 600 hours in warband. I played this, it made me realize something.

My Slavic ancestors fought and died in these wars.
They fought and died so that I could yell,
"lern to melee ♥♥♥ n00bs!"

Sorry ancestors.

I guess this version is worth the price. But nothing much going on except very large battles. This would be okay but because of the army size limit your personal army in the battles is 10 or 12 men. Not many bandits. There are quests provided but they are all buggy. I recommend because of the guns and low price.
