Chinese Translation Updated

Hello all, just a little update to let you know that the small update you received was to improve the Chinese Translations for the game, which you can select from the game's config window. Shouldn't affect anything else, so don't worry about it if you're not interested in Chinese :).

Caribbean! is now released!

Hello Mount & Bladers!

Today marks the day that Caribbean! goes on full release. After almost a year of Early Access, Snowbird Game Studios (developers of With Fire and Sword) have worked with your suggestions to bring you this release version! It's a unique project and a very different game from when it was first made playable.

As reflected by the name, this project isn't a TaleWorlds or Mount & Blade game but a project developed by Snowbird Game Studios, using a licensed version of Warband's engine, tailored in areas to the specific needs of the title. Given that, you can expect to see a lot of differences, when compared to games from the Mount & Blade franchise.

Caribbean! is now available to purchase on Steam.

Tis a good but nuanced game. I could only recommend it to people who really like Mount & Blade and are interested in Polish history. Game has promised patches that never came, the "Black Mace" story quest (Ukraine/Zhaparozhie) is still broken IIRC haven't done it recently. The game is also incredibly imbalanced and the firearms are the worst of it.

The sad part is that it's not the inclusion of the firearms, but rather their mechanics. You can reload a a full-length rifle while galloping on horseback, I'm not even exaggerating sadly.

Like I said good but nuanced game. Only buy if you really like M&B and Polish history.

M&B just got harder, this time with guns, oh dear, trying to shoot while riding is very hard but when you get the hang of it a lot of fun, get it in the collection when its on sale.

Great addition to Warband, this DLC allows you to really see the gamplay come out in spades! New factions and weapons are definitly fun!

Fight battles in first person using your horse and sword when you feel lucky and conquer the world as well in the strategy view. This game never seems to stop giving new twists and turns with its great sandbox environment. This game is a lot like sisters, one is always prettier and this one is not that sister (that is NW) but this one has a ton of personality!

- FPS Battles
- Overhead open world conquering
- Strong Character Development
- Strong Team Characters Developed

*Note graphics are dated because the game was released a long while ago but there are modifications available that bring it up to date!

**Quick update 12/27 about the story line, it is a bit flat to start with but then again it is a sandbox game so you are making the story up as you go!

Props to my good friend RedAlpha for giving me this games as a Christmas gift. Thanks alot, buddy. Fire & Sword, as a standalone expansion to Warband, is almost mechanically identical to it's relative game and has everything from it that makes it good, but there are tweaks and alterations that set it apart from the game enough to justify it as it's own separate title. Not only changing the weapons that the skills constitute and the armor and apparel to go with the new, much more advanced and recent setting than Warband, but to go with that, they added guns and grenades (Hence 'Fire and Sword'.) which is my favorite selling point in this game, because of this, they changed the ranged infantry from Archers to Marksmen, whom you can command to form rows thanks to the new additions to the order-giving system this game has. However, Fire & Sword also shares the two infamous gripes I have with Warband: Frustration with regards to difficulty, and as mentioned in the Warband review, letting a snail win a race to you while you're -riding a horse.- Oh well, just like Warband, this gets a 9/10, an impressive.

My least favorite part of the game is the map. It has very few landmarks. I liked the feel of the warband map where you had different kinds of terain. It is all flat and bland in with fire and sword. But hey, guns.

Between the guns, inability to do much without joining a faction and so on. There is no reason to get this when Warband exists and has plenty of mods as well as DLC to support its longevity.

I started out in the middle of a field then I was ♥♥♥♥♥ multiple time by different men in a large group, But there was still hope because on the horizon I could with my arms wide open cheat codes and my macro keys. To witch I made ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amounts of gold and made my stats so rediculess that was bassically a one man army. Then I recruiteda but 1500 men who then got tired of me disbaned all tried ♥♥♥♥ me at once...so I killed them all the people I held dearest for the past 15 minutes..I felt no remorse then alone I went conquered the entirty of russia in the name of sweeden they gave me nothing in return so I killed sweedish person there was. Then I went online and realized with my best friend we could not do co-op to which I killed myself because of the utter diasspointment which was the multiplayer function theis game had. But honestly I'd ♥♥♥♥ this game 10/10 if you buy this game you are a ♥♥♥♥♥.
