Another poorly ported game from IOS

First, this is not a puzzle game. The skill required to beat the game is guessing. That's it.
- No clue what is gonna be the object
- No clue why the object is related to the story
- No clue what is the story

You want clues? Pay $2 to get it!
Click free clues? It opened a web browser...
Click some "magical" words? It's an ad...
No video setting (resolution, windowed, etc)
Loading like you are playing on a mobile phone

Basically the developer copy/paste everything from IOS. What's the point of making an exactly the same game on PC when you can have better gaming experience on mobile device? Just to screw PC gamers?

Conclusion:
Don't buy this game! If you somehow like the game, play it on your phone.

It's a reasonable and enjoyable game, quite relaxing and I don't understand why some people found it boring or nerve-racking, it's true that some levels are pretty uhm, let's say, abnoxious, because you have to find that little angle which is sometimes frustrating, but nonetheless, there's good guides on the steam community and if you get stuck on a level just go search the solution, don't stay on a level for hours and hours..

10/10 would rotate the scenary again!

TL:DR at bottom above the *

I feel that a puzzle game should be challenging but intuitive. Ultimately the player needs to understand more than the mechanic of the game/level. They also should understand the goal of each level and game. Now in no way do I think this means giving the player the answer*. The player should be able to deduce what it is they are looking for. The game is broken into these "series" and (I feel) these seires should have puzzles that flow together to form a "theme".... And they sort of almost acomplish this. But I am still at a loss in each puzzle what I am looking for.

For example. In one puzzle I end up making what appears to be a "Chess Pawn" and the next level I ended up with a comb. Now it turns out that the "Chess pawn" was supposed to be hand soap on the guys Bathroom Sink. But this idea and theme was not communicated till all the objects had been found.

Ways to fix this. The backgrounds instead of being used as advertisment space** should be used to help descibe the theme. For the scenario above the backgrounds could have taken place in a large bathroom(s) with the broken pieces scattered in different bathroom looking backgrounds. This makes me think What might I find in a bathroom and work from there.

This allows the player to feel acomplished and know what they are looking for. There were several puzzles (Especially the seahorse one) where I had no idea what I was looking for until the game said (unexptedly) I had the solution and showed me what I got.

TLDR: In short A player in a puzzle game should never be surprized that they got an answer. This does not leed to a feeling of acomplishment but stupidity and shame.

That being said Nice Graphics
Nice Controls

*(You can BUY "hints" to do tell you what you are looking for 'Cough microtransactions on a paid game Cough' but this isn't what my complaint is about)
** Oh Yea that too

That’s a puzzle game I want to play. So I did. Except, from the start it became apparent that in order to do so, I’d have to sit through the inane burbling of a disembodied voice saying a slightly different version of the garbage in the subtitles. Of COURSE he’s lost his memory, because good bloody grief how could it be anything else? And so he’s trapped in some sort of dreamscape, with the puzzles’ solutions triggering memories. Except, oh God, I’ll get to that in a bit.

I want to recommend this as it's an interesting idea but the accuracy requirements to complete the puzzles are all over the place, some require pinpoint accuracy to proceed whereas some you can be off by a fair bit. There were also a number of puzzles that I completed by accident while looking over the objects to figure out what I needed to do. The difficulty also doesn't scale the further in you get, some of the puzzles towards the end took a matter of seconds to complete. Aesthetically it's quite nice.

The "puzzles" are repetitive and boring: get a screen full of random shapes and try to form something. Oh and you have no idea what you're looking for! Also in many puzzles there are a lot of "extra parts" that are not part of the shape you need to find and are there just to make it more confusing. Also there is no logic way to even wonder what you're looking for: It could be a banana and the next one could be a car, and then a key or something. After you finish a few levels you get a scene with the objects you found but still most of the time the make no sense (like the car could be just passing on the background or the banana could be stamped on the shirt of someone passing by and a toy could be a picture printed on some book). Also as someone said there are quite a few adds. Not as banners but the logo of the company appears as one of the puzzles and there is often some poster for another game on the background and even an add for some other game on the "go to the next level" screen appeared once.
Only way I would recomend getting this game is if you get it for free on some giveaway, so you can get the cards and sell for some steam credits and maybe get some better game.
Editimg: there were a lot more links to other games and even some puzzles were icons for other games. Also I finished (maybe I'm a masochist) just to see if the story made any sense and it sucks! Like really sucks! They are weird fragments that hardly fit together (sometimes seems like they just got a some random lines from random stories and throw in).

It's an alright puzzle game about visual manipulation, it seems like its trying to tell a story of some sort but it makes no sense. Another thing that makes no sense is a large number of the puzzles with a good number of them being advertisements for their other games. There are microtransactions for some reason, which aren't cheap either, you're better off just going to youtube and finding the solutions.

Overall its alright, nothing to new or interesting. I can't recommend anything about it that would justify buying it.

Definitely nowhere near perfect.
Buy "Shadowmatic" on your iOS device instead.

I wanted to like this game. I really really really wanted to like it.
I love the concept of rotating objects to reveal the shapes.
However, this game falls way short.

It feels like something someone made in Blender. Transitions are low resolution, plastic-looking, and low-framerate.
The levels range from super-easy, to "are you freaking kidding me?" with no coherent progression. (Easy levels and hard levels are all thrown together in no order)

The "story" is cringe-worthy. Sure, I want to know what happens next, but the voice-over feels strained. The levels often feel like the end-object was arbitrariarly chosen just so it could fit with the story. But worse, at times it feels like the story arbitrarily bends itself just to justify whatever the object was. It makes no sense.

Some levels are so incredibly "unfair", it seems like it's by-design how unfair they are.
Oh, but luckily there's a hint system.
Click the hint button, and it'll show you the shadow of the object that you're looking for.
Not enough? Click the hint button again, to get a sort of "radar" color, that will change to green as you get closer to the target shape.
That sounds lovely.
EXCEPT for the fact that you're only given 10-hints to start with. OH, maybe they give you more hints after solving a level on your own? NO!
Once you use up the 10-hints, your only option next is to BUY MORE hints.
Seriously? I already bought the game, and I cannot continue because I can't figure out this obtuse, intentionally frustrating level, because I don't have enough hints, and I must pay more to continue?
Skip. That.

Not to mention that the entire interface looks like it was designed for touch-screen. (Including some early on-screen prompts).

And there are ADVERTISEMENTS in the game directing you to their website for other (mobile) games.
On top of the in-app purchases, in a game I already spent money to buy?

I'm done with this game.. I wanted to enjoy it so much. But there's no love here.
Such a shame.

If you read this far, you really should check out "SHADOWMATIC", which is available for iPhone/iPad.
I guarantee that you'll like it more than "perfect angle"

ATROCIOUS nonsensical, but extremely ham-fistedly pretentious story.

More than half the puzzles do not make any context within each cutscene it leads up to.

Developers have negative shame/dignity, as they shove in as many 'product placements' of their other games everywhere in this game. Not just in random posters in the backgrounds as 'easter eggs', but some of them are LITERALLY the puzzles themselves, with links directing to their website out of steam to purchase them.

Ridiculous in-app purchases, 2.50 for 10 'clues' to help you with puzzles. Must be why they made their puzzles so stupid/badly.

Developers latest update also broken one of the achievements (Voice Notes), making it impossible for 100%-hunters like me to complete this game. No word on them on when they will fix it.

Pay real money to get hints or wait 5 mins on each level to get free hint

On most of levels it is not about looking for perfect angle, it's about rotating camera until you accidentally find something that makes no sense and you didn't even know you were looking for it

Also there are few annoying bugs

A perfectly fine puzzle game concept ruined by poor execution:

- Average graphics
- Godawful voice-over
- Pretty bad story to go with it
- In-game advertizing, seriously?!
- Microtransaction/Pay-to-win hint system
- Insistant "need a hint?" message on the early levels (which encourages you to waste them and get forced buy more if you actually get stuck)
- Music is bad and repeats non-stop

Also wish the puzzles didn't get so repetitive very quickly..

But yeah, don't waste more than $3-4 on this. You'll last about an hour of strong willed "I'll ignore this stupid dude who has no emotions and is reading a badly written story" until you break down after yet another red lines on black background puzzle.

The mechanics are interesting but the voice acting and story leave a lot to be desired. This game is a mobile port and even makes reference to you playing it on a phone (which obviously you arent.)

However, that could be overlooked if not for the fact that as a port of a mobile game, it's also ported over the in-game advertisements (some of which alt+tab you out of the game) and in-game micro-transactions for "hints" (a pay 2 skip wait system.)

If you see it on sale for $.99 and the concept interests you, go ahead and pick it up. But I can't otherwise recommend it.

A puzzle game based on uh... optical illusions. It's about getting that PERFECT ANGLE. Sounds easy yeah? WRONG! It's more like, "A puzzle game about moving your mouse and keep on doing so until you luckily find/detect that perfect angle and solve the puzzle".

Pros:
Stunning Good graphics
Challenging puzzles
First few levels were entertaining

Cons:
Incoherrent story
Some puzzles doesn't make sense or has no connection to the story
Miscrostransactions (Hint system)
Looping boring soundtrack
Too much self-promotion/advertisements about their other games (some are billboards in-game and some are in the options menu that opens a link out of the game)
Mobile port
Levels gets boring and repetitive halfway to the end

*PRO TIP*
The game doesn't tell you nor gives you clues to what you're looking for. So I suggest you keep moving your mouse until you solve the level

Buy this game with a 90% discount if you're into optical illusions/puzzles if not then don't bother.
