Definitely nowhere near perfect.
Buy "Shadowmatic" on your iOS device instead.

I wanted to like this game. I really really really wanted to like it.
I love the concept of rotating objects to reveal the shapes.
However, this game falls way short.

It feels like something someone made in Blender. Transitions are low resolution, plastic-looking, and low-framerate.
The levels range from super-easy, to "are you freaking kidding me?" with no coherent progression. (Easy levels and hard levels are all thrown together in no order)

The "story" is cringe-worthy. Sure, I want to know what happens next, but the voice-over feels strained. The levels often feel like the end-object was arbitrariarly chosen just so it could fit with the story. But worse, at times it feels like the story arbitrarily bends itself just to justify whatever the object was. It makes no sense.

Some levels are so incredibly "unfair", it seems like it's by-design how unfair they are.
Oh, but luckily there's a hint system.
Click the hint button, and it'll show you the shadow of the object that you're looking for.
Not enough? Click the hint button again, to get a sort of "radar" color, that will change to green as you get closer to the target shape.
That sounds lovely.
EXCEPT for the fact that you're only given 10-hints to start with. OH, maybe they give you more hints after solving a level on your own? NO!
Once you use up the 10-hints, your only option next is to BUY MORE hints.
Seriously? I already bought the game, and I cannot continue because I can't figure out this obtuse, intentionally frustrating level, because I don't have enough hints, and I must pay more to continue?
Skip. That.

Not to mention that the entire interface looks like it was designed for touch-screen. (Including some early on-screen prompts).

And there are ADVERTISEMENTS in the game directing you to their website for other (mobile) games.
On top of the in-app purchases, in a game I already spent money to buy?

I'm done with this game.. I wanted to enjoy it so much. But there's no love here.
Such a shame.

If you read this far, you really should check out "SHADOWMATIC", which is available for iPhone/iPad.
I guarantee that you'll like it more than "perfect angle"

ATROCIOUS nonsensical, but extremely ham-fistedly pretentious story.

More than half the puzzles do not make any context within each cutscene it leads up to.

Developers have negative shame/dignity, as they shove in as many 'product placements' of their other games everywhere in this game. Not just in random posters in the backgrounds as 'easter eggs', but some of them are LITERALLY the puzzles themselves, with links directing to their website out of steam to purchase them.

Ridiculous in-app purchases, 2.50 for 10 'clues' to help you with puzzles. Must be why they made their puzzles so stupid/badly.

Developers latest update also broken one of the achievements (Voice Notes), making it impossible for 100%-hunters like me to complete this game. No word on them on when they will fix it.

Pay real money to get hints or wait 5 mins on each level to get free hint

On most of levels it is not about looking for perfect angle, it's about rotating camera until you accidentally find something that makes no sense and you didn't even know you were looking for it

Also there are few annoying bugs

A perfectly fine puzzle game concept ruined by poor execution:

- Average graphics
- Godawful voice-over
- Pretty bad story to go with it
- In-game advertizing, seriously?!
- Microtransaction/Pay-to-win hint system
- Insistant "need a hint?" message on the early levels (which encourages you to waste them and get forced buy more if you actually get stuck)
- Music is bad and repeats non-stop

Also wish the puzzles didn't get so repetitive very quickly..

But yeah, don't waste more than $3-4 on this. You'll last about an hour of strong willed "I'll ignore this stupid dude who has no emotions and is reading a badly written story" until you break down after yet another red lines on black background puzzle.

A puzzle game based on uh... optical illusions. It's about getting that PERFECT ANGLE. Sounds easy yeah? WRONG! It's more like, "A puzzle game about moving your mouse and keep on doing so until you luckily find/detect that perfect angle and solve the puzzle".

Stunning Good graphics
Challenging puzzles
First few levels were entertaining

Incoherrent story
Some puzzles doesn't make sense or has no connection to the story
Miscrostransactions (Hint system)
Looping boring soundtrack
Too much self-promotion/advertisements about their other games (some are billboards in-game and some are in the options menu that opens a link out of the game)
Mobile port
Levels gets boring and repetitive halfway to the end

The game doesn't tell you nor gives you clues to what you're looking for. So I suggest you keep moving your mouse until you solve the level

Buy this game with a 90% discount if you're into optical illusions/puzzles if not then don't bother.

Hard puzzles..sometimes.

Unskippable narrative after each puzzle.
Poorly made jumpscenes.
Repetitive puzzles.
Irritating puhing messages about hint system when all I want to do is to find the solution. (I shouldn't have to push the hint button to be able to remove the pushed message. but when I see the possibility to BUY hints, then all this is a poorly made microtransaction-game)

Not worth the money at all.

It's a reasonable and enjoyable game, quite relaxing and I don't understand why some people found it boring or nerve-racking, it's true that some levels are pretty uhm, let's say, abnoxious, because you have to find that little angle which is sometimes frustrating, but nonetheless, there's good guides on the steam community and if you get stuck on a level just go search the solution, don't stay on a level for hours and hours..

10/10 would rotate the scenary again!

It's an alright puzzle game about visual manipulation, it seems like its trying to tell a story of some sort but it makes no sense. Another thing that makes no sense is a large number of the puzzles with a good number of them being advertisements for their other games. There are microtransactions for some reason, which aren't cheap either, you're better off just going to youtube and finding the solutions.

Overall its alright, nothing to new or interesting. I can't recommend anything about it that would justify buying it.

Interesting concept for a puzzle game but as with all the mobile games which are thrown on Steam without any optimization for PC, it's surely not perfect.

The story is about helping a person remember his lost memories through solving puzzles and you unlock a scene with a caption each few levels, now that I finished the whole game, I can easily say that the story was a bunch of gibberish sentences badly narrated by a fake wise voice and nothing made sense at the end of it.

To solve the puzzles you move the camera until some shape pops out, which works well for both mouse controls and touch screen, but that mechanism could be used as a cheating method because the camera reacts in a certain way when you're near the correct angle in some levels.
I also remember finding a correct shape in some levels but not passing the level because it wasn't the right one and that was kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t.

Hints unlock every 5 minutes, and the first one tells you what shape you are looking for, not knowing what you're looking for isn't much of a problem except in some specific levels where it gets confusing, still, I don't see why hints should be raining nonstop since that's not how puzzle games work, and even though that putting an option to buy hints is kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ but since you can beat the game without someone "forcing you" to buy hints, I don't see a problem in it and I don't get why a lot of people are giving negative reviews for this specific reason.

Recommended on a good sale.

Good quality game, but not really more than just Good.
Great story teller: I really liked the way information was given, for example about the character and his memories.
Trading cards: they are around 0.07 float so it is pretty good!
Hard, starting from seventh map, but there're a lot of let's plays on the net, so it is easy to search for the answer. What? You think it is easy? Then try it out! The puzzle game based on optical illusions...
9/10 Thank you. The game is worth buying.

Considering I've got this game for free - i'm very glad I have it.
TL;DR: Worth on some sale, for fans of puzzle kind of games. It's sometimes too hard, and sometimes too easy.
Repetetive music, but good visuals, although game itself feels a bit like mobile port.

It's a fun game, kind of thing I always dreamed about. Game where you only rotate camera. It has some faults - paying for hints? Who's gonna do that, if there are walkthroughs? Also hints are well... showing shapes, and I expected something different.

I don't like story here - it seems very much senseless. Also voice actor is, um, reminding me of lector from Trine - I dislike him. And overall the sentences - might have got translated not exactly how it was supposed to be. (Remember, that's my impression).
EDIT: You need to change settings and go for "with story", instead of "new story" to get other guy speaking! He is way better in my opinion!

Short and cool advertising for their other games

Perfect Angle is a pretty cool game. It´s short but very fun, though it has it´s issues.

+ A cool new style of puzzle
+ It has a story, and it´s alright (for a puzzle game)
+ Different modes
+ Makes you feel cool if you solve a level straight away ;)
+ Totally overuses the word "perverse" (I counted 14)

And now you see that the pros are going to get... funny. And that´s not funny in any way, because there are the cons too:

- Voice actors are boring
- Some levels are buggy
- Sometimes too easy, sometimes too difficult
- "Earning" tips for free has some kind of MMO browser game style: poor

The biggest problem is, as the title says, the advertising ingame. Nearly every level has some kind of advertising for other "Ivanovich Games" in it. You probably absolutely don´t care, but I care and the way it´s beeing implemented is not something similar with e.g. the "advertising" in "Shadow Warrior", where you can mostly smile over the elements of other games (like Serious Sam, Hotline Miami or Hard Reset). No, the fact is that this implementing is such overused that the game sometimes seems to be "built around" the ad. For example: Not only one facade of the building is covered by a "random street commercial", no, the whole complex is full of posters, neon signs or other stuff. They´re of course NOT implementing game elements as solutions for their puzzles as an ad, NO: "The terrorist is just going to distract you..." -> Of course...

Beside that poorly decision to make every 5th level an ad, the game is good. The voice actor changes one time (I found that pretty confusing, but the old guy probably wanted too much cash - because ads cost money too you know? :D ba dum tss), but the second VA doesn´t seem even a little more enthusiatic. You can "turn the story off", but if you want that story, it´s pretty annoying to listen to the VA after EVERY level... a little voice act every chapter would´ve done it, too, because (between level 5-90) it´s always the same crap what he´s talking about.

The difficulty level is OK, even when some levels are totally easy, while others are ridiculously difficult. I can accept that, though, because I think it´s even more difficult to invent levels that are perfectly increasing their difficulty level on a curve. The "getting tips for free" button is totally trash. I didn´t even come on the idea to farm 10 tips. Where´s the point on doing MMO browser game style like stuff, just because then you can literally skip the next 5 levels? Where´s the "puzzle factor" here? I think waiting 5 minutes for one tip is enough, because after the second tip the level is playing "Hot and Cold" with you and you surely can´t miss the solution.

I know, the weak points of the game are described pretty long, but that´s me. I like critising stuff, and maybe the game gets some adjustments (oh devs, please remove some of the ads and debug the "Red-blue-white"-levels, will you? ;) ).

Neverless the game was short but fun. I recommend it to buy it on sale or (like me) in a bundle.

Thanks for reading and have a nice one,
