Corgi Warlock is a 1-4 player side-scrolling fantasy action game, where one brave Corgi will take on the Skeleton Bunny King's army! Against the power of Narwhals, Fencing Bears, and Crazed Unicorns, it takes more than your average Corgi to survive the King's onslaught... it takes a CORGI WARLOCK.

Lots of updates, a new boss, new animations and effects and a price drop!

I've done some updates to improve local co-op and the single player experience.

The Bat Queen boss fight has been updated, with a new character design and a more difficult to kill skeleton mage. The new design is a lot more fun and unique, and its also more obvious that you don't have to jump to shoot her.

I added a new end game boss and a new short level leading to it.

I lowered the life total on some bosses and larger enemies that felt like tedious fireball sponges in single player.

Many enemy and boss life totals will now increase according to how many players are playing. Each time a player spawns into a level the enemy's life will go up a bit. This life increase will reset if you die, or go through a door, so it won't mess up the life totals if you go back to playing by yourself after you're done co-oping.

Some bigger enemies have new attacks and animations. Yetis, Rock Golems, Ice Golems, Trolls, and a few more. They'll stop walking and take a swing at you now.

I played with some particle effects. Some hero and enemy powers will have these added effects. I might add more in another update.

I improved a few early levels that were proving too hard for some players.
I added more health potions and fixed some level designs to have fewer jumping deaths.

I changed some enemy placement in some levels as well, and added and deleted some enemies in places where I thought it might improve the feel of the level.

I lowered the volume on the Pig-J damage noise. It was too loud.

Some of the bigger enemies cause better knock-back on contact, and some deal less damage on contact as well. The knock-back is also more obvious with a more visible hit effect added.

The Corgi Healing spell will now also heal teammates for half the amount it heals you, but not for the full amount of the spell, since everyone has their own healing spell. I thought this might make co-op a little more fun. Before, it was only healing light that would very slowly heal everyone. Now you can keep your kids alive during co-op, if they keep forgetting to heal themselves.

There was a recent price update too. Corgi Warlock is only 99 cents now! Not a bad deal for 3 to 5 hours of 4 player local co-op corgi fun!

Thanks to everyone that has given my little corgi game a chance, and to everyone else who decides to give it a try. I hope you enjoy the update.

“Each stage is filled with all sorts of creative enemies, but the best part by far are the huge bosses you and your team will defeat. Screen-sized rock monsters, vampires, dragons, and more. Corgi Warlock never fails to surprise you with its variety of bad guys.”

“The animations in the game are great. The combination of colorful graphics and precision-based platforming and combat is a nice throwback to the old-school of gaming like Ghost & Goblins and Ghostbusters, where timing and reflexes are essential for making it through the levels. Read more at”

“Artistically the game really stands out. It is very cartoony, with each character having a lot of little quirks and details (I am particularly enamoured with the goblin mages branch arms, and the cute baby-like Cyclops), and the animations are very smooth and well produced. The game has a very vast and varied cast of characters, which could appear quite jumbled when appearing together, and yet stylistically all fit beautifully.”

About This Game

Maia, the great Corgi Warlock, sets out on a quest to defeat the EVIL BUNNY KING and his army of undead minions. Based on a true story*, follow the exploits of Maia as she battles nefarious creatures of the BUNNY ARMY with her magic.

If Maia can't do it alone, she can team up in local co-op with her pals, The Magic Pug, The Prophet Pig-J, and the Deadly Fish Mage. With their powers combined not even the dreaded Bunny King himself will stand in their path... Or so they hope.

CORGI WARLOCK also features a 1-4 player vs. Battle Mode, for when you need to determine who does the dishes or if a Pug really is better than a Corgi.

The game is local co-op and local versus multiplayer.

About the creator:
Xander's Corgi Arcade is a one man shop, started by a former PIXAR, Dreamworks, and Sony animator, who decided to take a break and work on his own games for a while. His super amazing corgi, Maia, was the inspiration for it.
