You can say what you want about this game but it offers a lot of value when it comes to commas. Never, have,I ever, seen,so many, incorrectly, used, commas.
At £2, there's probably a good comma/4p, which is a very high rate. I bought it in a bundle so I'm laughing all the way to the bank.

If you don't care about commas though, there's not much here. It has a decent atmosphere, although the sounds are very low quality. The graphics are circa early 2000. The game took me 10 minutes to complete, but some of it was a little rushed, with exploration probably another 5 minutes. The gramma (as slightly touched upon) and spelling is bad. The story is confusing, after walking around a graveyard, your transported to a few abstract scenes, which involve more walking.

Can recommend if you're into:
High comma/value ratio.
Like walking with heavily compressed sound and bad graphics.
Want a 10 minute horror game about a dude who was dead but now is not dead but is still dead.

Can't recommend if you're into:
Not spending money on short games.
Like the horror genre.
Have,a,strong distaste for,bad gramma,and spelling.

Atmopsheric as hell, lots of very evil and dark scenery. It has some satanic imagery and gory dead bodies.
Very creepy playthrough, especially if you have headphones on with the sound turned up.
The sound effects were well done, with a constant emphasis on eeriness.
The general theme of death and hell added a morbid aspect.
Definitely put me on edge as I was exploring the game.

The game is very short, feels a bit underdeveloped (but the poor graphics really adds to the feeling of emptiness and creepiness in my opinion).
The text and grammar appeared to be written poorly from someone who was not a native English speaker, kinda felt like a confused soul not able to communicate his fear.
There are some shortcomings, such as getting randomly stuck in a doorway (that you could shake yourself out of), the game crashed if I minimized it, the keys/items you collect are in plain sight with zero skill needed to obtain them, random ♥♥♥♥ like that.

I would personally wait until this was on sale to buy, for a dollar or less I would definitely check this out if you're into atmospheric horror games! I wanted a creepy game, and I got a very creepy game.

**sigh** more litter on the Steam horror tag. Visually the first place you find yourself in is pretty cool. After that it's a bunch of random nonsense with the minimum amount of story to push you along, and even that doesn't really make sense. There was clearly no proofreader on hand, or if so they were dumb as hell, because the few notes around were absolutely atrocious, they ade my brain hurt.

This game amounts to nothing more than a key hunt. That's it. You can beat it in like five minutes with ease.

My Bones is a short indie horror game brought to us by publisher/developer Infernal Dream, the same company that has provided such titles as VERGE:lost chapter, White Mirror, and Lost Souls. Sticking with its trademark, My Bones is made in Game Guru, and features overly-long loading screens when transitioning from one area to the next.

Sticking with the format of the other games from the developer's library, this title also features extremely poor optimization and horrid framerates. Even on my mid-high end rig, I saw no better rates than 44 FPS, and as little as 14 in some points. There is zero direction, and absolutely nothing that tells you about the control scheme of the game; with the exception of pressing E to pick up keys and open doors.

Yes, My Bones is a key finding simulator... a very short, horrendously optimized one. I spent most of the game wandering around in the dark because I had no idea that you apparently have a flashlight. There's supposedly an evil piggie in the second level, but I'd only heard it oink once, and it was no threat at all; therefore I don't believe that you can actually die. There are two endings, one good and one evil, but I'm uncertain as to why you would put yourself through the pain of this game more than once, just to see an alternate, mostly text-based ending.

I could also point out the poorly written aspect of this game, but I really hate doing that to developers who obviously do not have English as a first language. Yes, the grammar and punctuation is bad, but I will say at least the developer tried. I've seen many other developers stop trying to translate their games into English because of this type of criticism. A better proof reader, or translator, would help a lot in this scenario, but the plot points still come across just fine.

It confuses me as to how My Bones has a Very Positive and Mostly Positive rating on Steam, and how there are so few negative reviews on this game. Have people become so willfully accepting of badly optimized, poorly written, key finding simulators masquerading as horror games? This title is nothing short of horrible, and I would go as far to say as it's worse than VERGE:lost chapter, just with fewer loading screens... because it's significantly shorter. I got this title on sale for $0.65 CAD, and I honestly regret it. Stay away, even when it's on sale. Play Fingerbones instead... not only is it a hundred times better than this game, it's also free.

Rating: 0.5/5.0 - Abysmal, avoid it like the plague.

Best game ever. I would highly recommend it. Story was amazing. The axe murder scene was brutal and gory. Not for the faint of heart. I recommend putting your headphones to super high so you can hear the real story.

I beg to differ that this is "very interesting horror" as claimed. It's about as generic attempt to ripoff Amnesia as could be.

Pros
- They said the game was short. It was short. +for Honesty

Cons
-Key system, find a key to everything
-I found 1 enemy, and he just stood there. I even walked up to him, and he did not do anything.
-Again it was short.
-I'm out of thins to say, because there was not much to go on. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I'm actually quite sad to be giving this a thumbs down because it contained at least two minutes of genuine, well manufactured tension but, uh... well:
"I loved him better than all, I did not expect that he will go crazy and kill me with an axe. But I love it all smooth."
Could you possibly take the drugs AFTER you write the script next time, please?
