These last couple of months we've been hard at work to bring Ulterius to life, we've had an awesome amount of success thanks to the continued support of our users.

We're hoping to bring Ulterius to Steam in order to support its continued development, by offering people a way to contribute to the project. Steam is also a great platform for introducing new users, novice and advanced alike to Ulterius and what it has to offer.

“Games are best when played full screen, but many won't play nice with Alt+Tab in full screen mode—which means you can't look at your browser for a guide or change the music playing in the background. Borderless Gaming fixes that problem.”

“Without a doubt, this is essential software when considering how many publishers treat PC gaming as an afterthought.”

About This Software

Borderless Gaming forces borderless-fullscreen mode in any game. Stream at any resolution while still being able to easily alt-tab out as if you were in windowed mode. No more risk of crashing in badly optimized games when you want to switch songs or check your email.

A lot of games run smoother when running in a window, the need for V-Sync goes out the window, it's simple to use and you can click and forget. No more apps with overly complex methods of adding games or useless features bloating up your system resources.

It's also open source so anyone can contribute to making it the best tool out there. See the links in the side bar for the releases/source code. When you buy Borderless Gaming you're choosing to support the development. You can always get it free on Github if you're lacking coins.

Enjoy the Borderless Gaming today

System Requirements

    • OS: Windows XP
    • Memory: 50 MB RAM
    • Graphics: Close your eyes and open them to simulate fading effects during operation.
    • Storage: 200 MB available space
    • Additional Notes: Could probably run on a microwave.

This is a must have for any gamer. It's fabulous, and worth a lot more than what they're charging.

It can run independent of Steam and be started with Windows too. For most games, it will auto expand them when you start the game. For a few, you may have to do it manually, but it's great either way.

Do yourself a big favor and add this to your library!

It works as its advertised. I've used this program with the Dark Souls franchise, BFBC2, and many other titles that don't natively support borderless windowed and it works just fine.

If you have multiple monitors I suggest that you give this a try.

If you don't know why borderless fullscreen is so important, you probably game on one monitor. Some of us game on two, and we come to know borderless fullscreen very well. If you're thinking about going dual-monitor, let me fill you in on why this program is so useful.

You're probably already familiar with the "borderless windowed" option alongside the "windowed" and "fullscreen" options in some games' video menus. For a single monitor, borderless window mode is just that fullscreen mode that makes the game not minimize all the way when you alt+tab out of it to do something else, but it's a heck of a lot more if you're working with two monitors.

You know how when you're using regular full-screen mode and you alt+tab out of the game, the screen flashes a little bit when you tab out and back in? If you have a video running on a second monitor, that flash kills it. Sometimes you can fiddle around and get it to work, sometimes you get lucky and it works the first time, but sometimes there's no help. If you game with 2 monitors, this will eventually frustrate you -- and none of it happens if you get the game to run in bordless mode. It's like a magic switch that fixes all that crap, but unfortunately most games still don't have the option.

A year or so ago, I came across this program on the steam forums while dealing with a particularly finnicky old game. I got a copy for free back then and it's been a lifesaver. It's easy to use and I have yet to find a game that it doesn't work on. When I saw they had updated (significantly from the looks of it) and moved to steam, I had no problem throwing a few bucks at the screen for the amount of pain in the ♥♥♥ this program has saved me. It may not make that much of a difference if you game on one monitor, but if you game on two, this is well worth the money.

I should note that sometimes in my experience, it will cut off the bottom and top of the game screen by a few pixels - not enough to matter, but enough to notice. I should also note that it seems to have settings available to fix this, but so far I haven't been inconvenienced enough to try fiddling with them.

Borderless Gaming is excellent software. Immediately fixes those games that don't Alt+Tab out well or force into windowed mode instead of tabbing out. Would highly recommend!

Ignore people who are complaining about Steam saying your "In-App" instead of the game you're playing. All you have to do is Disable Steam Integration from inside Borderless Gaming which can be done with one click.

View the developers guide on disabling In-App below:

Borderless Gaming, an interesting piece of software, allows you to instantly switch between your games and the rest of your computer contents very quickly by "ALT-TABing". What are the pros and cons for this 8th version?

+Very effective
+No need to set the V-Sync "ON" anymore
+Open source
+Freely available to use at ►
+Compatible with most of the games, may they be from Steam or not
+"Favorites" library to automatically detect and make borderless your chosen games
+Friendly-user developer who listens and answers to his community
+Buying this version includes free updates to upcoming versions

-Lack of a process renaming function in the "Favorites" section (i.e. "Sleeping Dogs" instead of "HKShip.exe")
-A very few games remain uncompatible with Borderless Gaming (Most of them already allow borderless display in options)

Being a user of this software for 2 years now, I think it is really useful to every multi-task gamers.
The software never slows your system down and runs silently at Windows startup if you want to.
I only bought it to support the developer's nice work.

This software is a must have, from low to high performance level computers.

This screenshot shows a few examples ran thanks to Borderless Gaming:

This software is free and open source. I have used it for well over a year.

By purchasing this it will help support development which I am very happy to do.

I personally use it to make my stream more seamless. Brilliant alternative to using Game Capture.

Thank you.
