Why Early Access?

Dark Forester already has a big content (17 Character level, 100+ Monsters, Primary and Secondary skills, PvP, forest decoration, Traps, Units; Garrosons, Events, Sandbox Elements and more) and i want to give a chance to play the game now! This in turn gives me a chance to improve the game based upon player feedback! By getting Early Access not only are you supporting me, you'll get to follow the development and help me tune and improve the game to be the best it can be! My goal is to make Dark Forester one of the greatest PvP adventure. I would be thrilled to have you join Dark Forester.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

I'm estimating that the game will be complete, it takes as long as it takes. Alpha goes in three phases. Next alpha phase (2) will get additional content and max. avatars level 17.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

The final release will contain a campaign, extra PvP and adventure maps, generated forests, developer Mode for Unity3d fans. i'm planning to add more avatar classes, story, additional monsters, weapon shop, traps, primary skills, forest soul skills, forest brush, battle grounds, arenas and more. I'll also make changes based upon player feedback!

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

The current Early Access has 17 Avatars level, 100+ monsters, primary and secondary skills, PvP content, forest decoration, traps, units, protectors, 2 camera views, garrisons, heroes, 10+ Fantasy objects, adventure map, 17 spells, weather and day/night effect influences the game, 28 art of trees and more.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

Alpha: 0,99$, i need more Feedback, and also stronger PvP Forests

Beta released

Patch notes:
- Alpha progress has been reset.
- Engine updated from Unity 4 to Unity 5.
- Graphic performance optimized.
- Terrain textures changed.
- Upgrade system completely redesigned.
- Ogre, orcs, fences, well, forester house and Barricade can be upgraded.
- Minimap fixed and completely redesigned:
- red circle: enemies
- green circle: own units
- blau circle: own objects
- player, forest building and traps use icons on minimap.
- All 'Drag And Drop' problems and issues fixed.
- Camera uses new graphics filters, graphics is darker now.
- Pathfinding for enemies added.
- Enemy healthbar reworked:
- During the fight you can redrop 3 times your units.
- Infromation added below the units healthbar.
- Boss special skills under healthbar added.
- Healthbar names fixed.
- Light points like windows, latern, torch react on darkness.

About This Game

What awaits you?

Part-physics based Objects, like Great Ground Cata, Corpses, Falling Trees, Exploding Objects.
New Art of Gameplay: Units stuck in corpses or fallen trees.
Units have 'detection range' and 'lose sight' characteristics. They go in fight only if enemy is in 'detection range' radius and will follow him only if he is in 'lose sight' radius.
Enemies attack everything what you own. Also trees, but only if they are on they way.
Only special enemies attack fixed units, like your avatar or livestock. Normal unit does not distinguish between your avatar, your buildings, your fences or anything else what you character own.
