About This Game

Meeting Semyon, the game's main character, you would've never paid attention to him. Just an ordinary young man with thousands, even hundreds of thousands of those like him in every ordinary city. But one day something completely unusual happens to him: he falls asleep in a bus in winter and wakes up... in the middle of a hot summer. In front of him is "Sovyonok" - a pioneer camp, behind him is his former life. To understand what happened to him, Semyon will have to get to know the local inhabitants (and maybe even find love), find his way in the complex labyrinth of human relationships and his own problems and solve the camp's mysteries. And answer the main question - how to come back? Should he come back?

Ok So lets start to explain about this game :

This game is not recommended to ppl that dont like to read and just click on the screen.

But this game is recommended to people that will read everything and not just skip.

I done the Miku End and it was very sad cause Everyone Died at the end.

what can i say about other ends
1. They are very easy and not so emotional

What should u do to get enjoyed from this game:

1. Try the Hardest End : Miku End
2. And try the Secret Girl
3. Download Mods to countinue the game

Enjoy.!

One of the best games on steam here; really.

I previously didn't play many Visual Novels, I didn't really like them, but then I ecountered "Everlasting Summer". It's by far the best free to play game on steam with absolutely no hidden costs or in-game purchases.

And it's truly a masterwork. The story is so well written, you'll miss all the chracters when you completed all the endings. You'll laugh, cry, fear, weep and feel with all the characters. And you really want to find out, what's going on; but you only will, if you play all the endings.

Just a little tip: Play the game normally first, then try to uncover all the other endings, either with some help from the guides or without. There are also some hidden endings that you have to uncover.

And most importantly: After you finish play the free DLC (hidden in the options) for clarity.

TL:DR --> This free, but well made, game opened my mind to this type of video game. It's a story that slowly immersed me and made me experience more than I expected.
I gave it a try and I don't regret anything.

The following is more of a message to the developer than a real review.
-----------------------------------------

I have just spent the last 24h of my vacation playing your game nonstop. I've never played a Visual Novel before and because of you, Soviet Games, Visual Novels are now one of my favourite kinds of game!

No; I haven't activated the erotic pictures. It would have made the experience less interesting to me (I know where to go when I need such thing).

But a "Thank You" would not be enough for me to say. In the next days I shall gather 50 "Brazilian-money" to donate to you. It's around 1000 RUB. It's not an obligation, but I simply must pay my gratitude to you. It's not that much, but I hope it'll help.

Guys, create a paid DLC so we can easily give you a help. Everyone can already download the pictures for free on the internet or just printscreen then, so creating this DLC would just allow people to repay the great experience you gave us.

In case you're wondering what endings I got:
1. In my first time, I played trying to act as I would act in real life. Got a lot of answers, but got ---> Semyon Bad Ending...

2. I changed my final decision and ---> Semyon "Good" Ending
Got more questions than answers

3. Went back a little in my save files and tried to focus on Lena during the campfire. She was the one who got closer to my heart during the gameplay and during the decisions I made in the game. ---> Lena Horrible Bad Ending...
It was the first time I cried during the game; but not the last.

4. Re-started from zero. Tried to get close to Alisa and stay A F&CK1NG AWAY FROM LENA. Out of curiosity I changed focus in the campfire and discovered ---> Slavya Bittersweet Bad Ending!
This one touched me deep, but left me somewhat happier.

5. Back to the original plan with Alisa. It turned into ---> Alisa Good Ending!
Finally, a true good ending! And with a girl that is closest to my personality in real life.

After all that (I played 3. 4. and 5. without stop) I could finally get some sleep and 11AM; yes, I stood the night awake. Four hours later I could not sleep anymore. I thought to myself: Humm... In the game's comments, there are a lot of people talking about Miku's Ending.
I consulted a no-spoiler guide and went to try it out.

6. I took me 4 hours to finish Miku's ending. I'm a slow reader and I had to take breaks in the middle of such tense atmosphere. And when I finally reached the anti-climax... Oh, man! I have not been so euphorical, relieved and happy about a video game in a long, long time!
You've managed to mock your own game and still create an incredible experience! That's no small achievement!

So, to wrap this up: Thank you so much!
Your game has touched me and changed me in some way. I will keep my eyes on your work and open my mind to other Visual Novels.
I can't wait to see what is still to be discovered in this game (not to mention there's "Wintertale" to play), but, right now, I just want to step away from the computer, take a bath eat something and simply go out!

I know it's a big cliché to say this, but I won't deny the truth: I left my heart in Sovyonok!

10/10, MUST HAVE, GOTY. This game looks very similar to many other novels, but something in this game makes you feel like you at home.

Very beautiful cute music. When you will hear it, there is a big chance that you download it in2 ur device.

The very interesting story with many choices, (pretty ladies:)))), amazing backgrounds - this is Everlasting Summer. Download it, and you won't feel bad about wasted time!

Pros
- good story
- Plenty of replayability value
- liked the art style

cons
- very small, sometimes vague things change the ending, but this is very few and far between

I'm suprised this is free, I would have happily paid to get this

The miku ending seriously needs to go sit in the corner and think about what it's done... Honestly don't do it if you get scared easily

I have only played two endings, but so far this game is both amazing and to be honest... F**ked up (I get this from Miku's ending; which I highly recomend that you don't play at night - that is unless you want nightmares). The script is very good as well as the art, the music is also good but leaves somethings to be desired.

I didn't think much when I added this free game to my library. I suppose I expected a 10-15 minute game that one or two people made on a whim. Instead I found a complex visual novel with twists and turns galore and I found myself returning consistently to this game to try and find every loose end and every ending just to make sure I don't miss out on the full experience. The characters are interesting, the writing is really good, and the design and music are top notch. I am really happy to have played this game and I am looking forward to new projects from this developer in the future.

As this is infact one of my first Visual Novels. This was definetly a great Novel and overall an emotional experience.

And a matter of fact, i've only done one playthrough and still. You just have an erge to fully complete it and find all the endings. (Which i'll be doing)

... Plus, i don't know why this is for free. I would pay to play this.

everlasting summer is one of the best free visual novels you will ever play

it has multiple characters each with their own unique identity to make them stand out

there is also really good writing in the game which takes the use of both humour and more dark ideas to blend a game that is one to get engrossed into.

the music is also a strong point with the game and myself (bought the two soundtracks on a website away from steam)

don't get fooled that it's free - if your looking to get into visual novels or just looking for something to play and have little money to spend (although they could easily sell this for £3.99) play everlasting summer - a must for anime and gaming fans a like.
