Buggy game with interesting ideas that has been destroyed by the devs. Is there a company interested to bail this company out and/or just buy their IP?

Revisited this game after I had some fun with it some time last year.
After playing the tutorial to remember all the rules and gameplay mechanics,
I wanted to do some online PvP matches.
To my surprise I was offline and couldn't for the life me figure out what the problem was.
As it turned out, it wasn't my fault but some issues on the devs' side.
Sadly, the game isn't playable at all atm.

As the longest-standing ''veteran'' player who has the most Hours on Record for the original March of War game, I was a little skeptical when this new MoW themed card game popped up, however upon playing it I immediately take that back. This game has just started in Early Access and has already gotten a solid, friendly little community. It is fun, fair, and a great thing to play to pass the time.

Anyone that loves card games (like Hearthstone) and war-themed turn-based games (like the original MoW) will definitely enjoy playing this. The devs are quite active on the in-game chat and are quick to answer any questions and problems people may have. I urge you all to come and check this game out. Drop whatever you are doing, and come say hello!
~~~~~~~~~~
Pros:
--------------
It's Free to Play. (NOT Pay to Win!)
Devs are active in the chat.
Nice and friendly playerbase.
It has it's own in-game ''friends'' system so you can challenge your friends to a battle.
Quick PvP matches with a good matchmaking system. (Which will improve as more people play this game!)
You dont neccesarily have to be good to win games - It mostly depends on the luck of Card Draw.
--------------
I WILL STOP HERE, YOU SHOULD BE CONVINCED BY NOW! :)
~~~~~~~~~~
Cons:
--------------
A few minor bugs that the devs are working on removing asap, but that is to be expected with Early Access games.
--------------
There isnt really anything else I can think of to put here, other than a slight lack of ''tooltips'' in various places which should be addressed as time goes on.
~~~~~~~~~~
Well, that's it! I hope this review has made you decide to check out this great game. If it has, welcome to the MoW Community! If not, then it sucks for you, as you dont know what you're missing out on. Let me put it into perspective for you - I have just under 7000 Hours on Record for the main March of War game, so what I say should be trustworthy. :)
Third game in a row from ISOTX that i have played and which has been killed by them. Maybe they should really sell their games (if the company is still alive, as their website is down). Looks like they can't figure out F2P model working for them, so they screw a userbase every their game was able to gather and start from a scratch again and again. I do not regret that much. I haven't invested real money, i had fun while it was online. But i won't touch any ISOTX game (if there will be any) in the future. Simple as that.
This is the best card strategy game I have played. It takes time to get good so you have time to grind the cards you need to be competitive at the top tiers in this game. It is quicker to pay for the cards but isnt that always the case. Been playing for 5 months steady and havent gotten bored yet. You reall should check it out. Its Great.
as this games servers have now gone offline now rendering it pretty much pointless to play (No pvp, No arena, No desintegraging cards, No building cards, No creating decks, No editing pre-exising decks, No leveling up, No earning tickets, No shop acess, In the 2-3 weeks i played i sunk over £50 into this game and didn't spend it all at once, No spending the gems I PAID FOR, No earning cards, No quests, No earning gold, No spending gold, No chat, No friends list, No achivements...
Guess what, Im not happy with this, At all.
Doubt the developers care anymore, Sad, I loved this game for its uniqe game play and mechanics and its been ruined, I read up on the game devs and apparently this kind of poor behaviour is common.
I normally steer clear of these kind of ftp games because of the pay to win element. This is the second free card type game I have played this week which doesn't force that aspect onto you. Well done guys because thats how you build a fan base. This game is easy to understand but not so easy to master. Great fun whether you go up against the computer or another player.
This game is an interesting hybrid between a trading card game and a classic board game like chess with a Diesel Punk-WWII theme. The combination makes for an extensive depth to the gameplay. While the game is pleasantly easy to learn, mastery is a different story. The large range of card types, different factions and the unique nature of the gameplay ensures a varied an interesting experience with no two player made decks being the same and with no single deck having universal acclaim to the leader-board.
All the content is accessible for free (with the exception of aesthetics), and there is a tonne of content too, three full factions and a neutral support faction. Also, paying players get no advantage over free players with all the content that they purchase having the same drop rate as that of free to play players. As to the grind of the game, its not too bad, especially in getting you into the mid-ranks. Plenty of initial gold drops and boosts to help you get started, after that it balances off a little, but the crafting system takes over at that stage, helping you make powerful custom decks.
The 3D graphics are decent, not great but clean and well textured. The animations are many and mostly well done. The card art however is amazing and considering the hundreds of cards in-game, all of it is surprisingly unique and enjoyable to look at.
PvP is where this game excels, while the first few matches can be bumpy once you're accurately ranked the system gives you quite evenly matched opponents. If you don't have great cards yet, or want to play with some that you don't have the recently released Arena mode is great. Arena mode levels the playing field and beyond the initial luck and skill needed to craft the deck its all skill based, so you can prove your mettle against far more veteran players with ease.
The development team are very active with the game, in the last six months they've added a constant stream of new content and had two major releases. One was the addition of Arena mode and the other was the Shogun Empire, the first of four planned additional factions. Any changes that negatively effect a card you own when addressing balance is also treated fairly, with you being offered the opportunity to exchange the "nerfed" card for any other of equal rarity.
Overall a very well implemented game with a great twist on the classic real-world gaming for the digital age.
This card game is based off another free to play card game of a similar name, March of War. This game is very well made and well balanced, with the developers actively working to enhance the game, and spending plenty of tiem in the chat talking to the players and taking suggestions. Unlike some other card games, the only luck is in the unavoidable draw of the cards and cards obtained from packs, the rest is all skill. An easy PvE mode allows you to get a simple understanding of the game before moving onto PvP. Currently there are 0 items which require you to spend money. Everything can be obtained for free.
The concept of March of War is 6 super factions composed of numerous countries are in an eternal alternate WW2 battle to rule the world, using different technologies and weapons unique to each faction. In Face Off, 2 factions are already incorporated with a third coming up, hopefully for August 2015. Your choice of factionoverns which cards can be incorporated into your deck. Additionally decks can be made with completely different strategies, such as focusing on units that buff your other soldiers, or on creating a defense using shield abilities aswell as advancing across the field. Most card games are fairly simple, but this game allows for in depth strategy with a variety of different unit abilities, and over 200 cartds already in the game.
Sadly the game is not perfect, but what game is? Purchasing packs of cards can require lots of grinding and may yield frusturatingly poor results, and the game does not yet have a large player base, so PvP can get a bit slow at times. Fortunately daily objectives and login bonuses are in place to make grinding easier and the game will expand for more players to join PvP, and further updates will improve the game even more.
Overall this is an excellent card game, the first one I've played that has been addictive and fun. Besides, the game is free, nothing bad can happen if you download it, so give it a try.
Great strategy card game with an army theme, lots of fun once you get into it. Include PvP and PvE with a very decent ai that will push you to the limit on hard. If you enjoy turn based strategy or card games, give it a try. Its really worth the check out and continued watch as it develops!
+ Solid PvP and AI
+ Unique cards and custom deck building
+ Not pay to win if you spend some time playing the AI (gets you into the ins and outs of the game quicker anyway)
- Gameplay still has some bugs (not unexpectedly in early access and easily looked past)
- Matchmaking could use a little work
- Graphics aren't great (however doesn't take too much away from the gameplay)
- Chat and social features could use some work, the chat is quite clunky and big still
