If you played DBZ on PlayStation 2 then i guess don't play this... the controls is so messy if you switch from PlayStation to this version but I would still recommend this game because I love DBZ so much that I’m overlooking the hated parts.

Still love this Game!

Overall I really loved this game, controls were tight and pretty responisve, there were a decent bit of outfits throw together. Things I wish the game would have had...A bit more customization options for your character, less RNG based aquisition of skills and items, and maybe just a way to switch your bgm in the main cities hub...you spend alot of time there so it seems like such an option would go a long way. In any case though they Sheer volume of characters thrown into the game was pretty nice, and the games Mentorship program for your custom characters to learn moves from signature characters like Frieza, Cell, and Goku was just neat. Well worth the money you'll spend, go ahead and pick it up

Dragon Ball XenoVerse takes most of what I like about the anime and role-playing games and combines them into a single, great-looking package. It’s strange, then, that it mostly neglects the single most important thing that makes Dragon Ball Z great: the fighting. I had fun building a hero all my own, but her journey through the DBZ lore is deflated by one-sided fights and combat that boils down to what feels like glorified button-mashing. I was ultimately left wanting more than the shallow, frustrating, and repetitive combat.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse
Another excellent game for Dragon Ball fans. The game was released on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. As I am a fan of DB I bought this game for PC and Xbox 360 and I really enjoyed this production.
We enter to the world of created by Akira Toriyama Manga as a Time Patroller and our mission is protect the history of Dragon Ball. In the game have been presented the most important and most spectacular duels in the history of series.

✔ Pros
+ You can create your own character
+ Vegeta
+ Perfect graphics that reflects the world of anime
+ Great image of all characters
+ Vegeta
+ Reference to the most important events (time traveling)
+ Lots of special attacks
+ Possibility to play Co-op and versus with other players
+ Long and addictive gameplay
+ We can see again how Kuririn die
+ And Vegeta

✘ Minuses
- Yamcha
- Fewer and fewer players
- Music (After some time begins to be annoying)
- The game isn't cheap
- Grinding (To get that one skill or item what we really want)
- Transformation only for one race (Saiyan)
- I was thinking about more open world
- Servers... Just terrible

I spent in this game so much hours and i will still play it. I really recommend this game for DB fans. If you never had contact with Dragon Ball Series don't buy it. Just check out the Dragon Ball anime and when you will enjoy this universe, buy this game.
P.S. Beware of Father-Son KAMEHAMEHA. If you are playing versus Gohan and Goku be careful.

Awesome game but not many characters. 2 years later, Vegeta SSJ 4 is still not available to unlock. They never made it available for us. Even after all this time. One whole character is not available because I didn't pre order this game. And there are not many to begin with. I have all the DLC and season passes too. So unfair.

>Be me
>Be level 38 and ask Ginyu to join his force
>Learn fancy poses to impress my enemy
>Start a random parallel quest with nothing but poses to try out what they all sound like
>Enter multi lobby again and get challenged by level 87 without knowing
>Think I am doing mission with him until the tournament screen appears
>Be me with very low health and use master Ginyu's body swap
>Watch in amazement as it works
>Be me level 38 in 87 body
>Watch as my enemy tries to fight with nothing but poses

10/10 would learn poses from master Ginyu and beat enemy with it.

My best Dragon Ball experience so far!

If you're a fan of Dragon Ball games, and dont mind grinding quite a bit to get everything there is to obtain, Xenoverse is definately a must-have for your collection!

The combat is very smooth, with only a few "bugs" with the camera spinning around if you get into odd positions vs. the target you are locked on to.
Like most fighting games, it can be insanely frustrating at times. But being wellmade, it makes you want to retry until you beat that mission or character you just couldnt.

A major downside to the game, is the RNG.. *Everything* is RNG based... From the trainers you want to train with. To the gear you want to collect.. Even when you perform every task correctly to spawn a certain character, the game might still decide not to spawn it for you.

The multiplayer aspect of the game is also a bit wonky. With the 60FPS lock that performs kinda bad, and the netcoding that will make most PVP lag alot. - But if you are looking at this title to play a solid PVE fighting game, i ABSOLUTELY recommend it!!

Easily one of thee best DB/DBGT/DBZ videogames of all time. A lot of people call it a "modernized Tenkaichi" game, and I can see why... but I thoroughly disagree.

The online element to this game made it incredible. It does have it's flaws, though.

Pros:
+Online play
+MMO style customization
+Great *repeatable* story
+Multiple character creation
+They STILL have EXP events in-game

Cons:
-Servers aren't always as stable as I'd prefer
-Not enough skills
-Could use more customization options
-Certain achievements force you to do things some people may not wish to do, such as PvP
-Hitboxes are arguably glitchy at times

There are more pros and cons of course, but each to their own. I still play this game almost daily.

Would I suggest playing this before Xenoverse 2? yes, definitely.

DBZ~ ♥

Absefreakinlutely amazing game. Would recommend this game to any fan of the show.

My only flaw is that some achievements require you to PvP, and some people aren't comfortable PvPing.

Either way, buy the game or I'll bite you.

kbai.

.basic costomization towards created character
.very boring toki toki city, TOO small

Overall abit over average game, And I will be getting Xenoverse 2!
