Why Early Access?

“The game as a system is now mature enough for a release but still needs a lot of content which will be added gradually. We don't think it justifies a full priced release yet.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We would like to keep the game in early access for roughly 6 months. We'll keep you updated on its progress.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“There are LOTS of features we want to add to the game, here's a few of them :
- new musics and levels obviously
- an online multiplayer mode
- tons of upgrades for career mode
- an editor for players to create their own levels

This will all depend on the success of the early access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable on keyboard and gamepad with a tutorial and several game modes. No major bug has been discovered so it's stable but we still need to perform large scale playtests to be sure, as well as QoL improvements.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game's price will increase gradually as we add more content.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We'd like to hear what players like in terms of music and push the game's catalog in that direction. We'd also like to give them the tools to create their own experiences.”

About This Game

A NEW UNDERGRÔUND STAGE

Ô is a new kind of musical roguelike centered on techno. We work in tight collaboration with artists and labels to bring their music to life. Experience the sound in your own way and reach the best score before the end of the mix.

GROOVE TO FIND THE MOVE

Dance with any instrument of the tracks in each level. Compose your own choreography based on bass, drums, melodies or lyrics. You'll encounter other enemy dancers with their own moveset. Move as close to them at the right timing to electrocute the closest ones, flirt with them ! It's a french game after all...

But not too close, you'll get hurt and it will ruin the show.

GEAR UP

Unlock upgrades, customize automated weapons activated by the sounds of the music. You'll earn resources along the way that you can spend to come up with the best strategy. Find out which weapon works best with each kind of sound you hear.

DIG THE MAP

Explore the procedurally generated map. In it, you'll encounter fights, time trials or several recurrent rooms filled with all kinds of upgrades. The map generation can be customized in many ways to make sure it adapts to your needs and strategy. Better get moving though ! Time is ticking and the end of the song is coming.

PRICK UP YOUR EAR

Pay close attention to the music, events will occur as it progresses. Get ready for a boss fight on the drop. Take advantadge of respites to spend your resources and rethink your strategy. Soon enough, you'll read music instinctively and vibe with all of its variations.
