It only takes you less than 10 minutes to realise the demo just allows you to create a few players and go through a couple of training drills. No matches, nothing. You just get to experience the training and the create a player which pretty much makes this 'demo' pointless as you get no real feel for the game that you might buy for £34....

This game is utter and complete ♥♥♥♥♥, you can already tell from the trailer that Big Ant has not put in the minimal effort to make ALL the players in the game look like their real life counter parts, they pretty much got lazy and made this "Fan Hub" to get people to customize each player and publish it so they can use it with the finished product, gameplay is still the same as all the other rugby league games and i don't have to tell you that in the trailer, Thurstons kick looked like an effect used in Microsoft PowerPoint, no ball physics at all.

I watched the gameplay and asif the real life defense and offense get back in line perfectly, Rugby League Live 3 is pretty much a much graphic enhanced arcade game that you could easily get bored of after the first match.

Please people don't waste your money on this, whether it is on console or PC, just wait a few years and I PROMISE YOU, that there will be a Rugby League game released by a different studio that would try to reach the heights of NBA 2K and will also include loads of content and game modes.

I love Rugby League. I'm looking forward to this game. I've been playing the passing drill and last time I checked was 13th.

However, while the game looks promising it is disappointing that the release date (or even an indicative month/s would be ok) hasn't been given. Is this the only game on Steam where there's no hint of release date?

I have DBC (cricket game) by the same developer and it is a very good game but I think it came out on PC 3 months after the game consoles. It would be nice for the developer to let the community know for benfit for tose people who own both consoles and PC. I mean, come on BigAnt, you must have some idea?

I should give a no but we need developers like this to keep making good niche sports sims so you get a thumbs up on the condition you let us know what the date will be. Go on, suprise me and do it on the 10th of September!

After trawling the internet i found that they will be announching the release date for pc after they ship the console version, and they aren't responding to questions about it online, a lot of people think they won't release this on PC and that this was just to get the online community to make some more realistic characters. I hope it comes out. No real gameplay on this demo so thumbs down. But if this comes out on pc and it is 5% better than rugby league live 2 it'll be my favourite game

A lot more player creation options than the upcoming Rugby Challenge 3 which is nice. I can actually make someone who looks like me.

Nice to have a couple of drills to try out.

Hopefully the game is freat.

Hey guys, I think the work you've been doing in the game atm has been great, I've been a consistent fan of your Rugby League franchise and still play Live 2 currently. However jsut been checking out some of leaked your player stats and you really need to update them and fast. Of particular note your Sea Eagles side: You have Stewart at 92, with Foran and DCE at 86/83 respectively... Lyon at 91 and Feleti Mateo at 92!?!? To put it in perspective JT is 95 and Inglis is 92. This needs to be corrected on current 2015 form Lyon and Stewart are low 80s at best, DCE and Foran are the only ones that should crack 90. Feleti Mateo is 70s at best...
Another glaring inaccuracy is Cooper Cronk at 83.... the best HB at 83 that's absurd... similarly S Johnson and M.Pearce are on 83 as well. Both Johnson and Cronk deserve to crack 90 for sure... You've also seemed to scale Hookers weirdly high with even mediocre Hookers receiving mid-to-high 80s (M.Rein is a 90 for gods sake), while HB arguably the most vital role, with some of the best players in the game are scaled at low 80s...
These are just some things that need to be fixed / scaled. Overall you've done well I think with teams like Panthers, Tigers, Cowboys and Eels with scaling and player ratings. Its just some glaring inconsistencies that really need to be addressed, I honestly don't think ANY NRL fan would ever consider Cronk, DCE, Johnson to be 83 while players like M.Rein, Feleti Mateo and Lyon are polling 90s. Its bizarre that this has even come about. But overall good work!

Loving it at the moment, graphics look clean as! Can't wait for full release, WHICH will be in the second quarter of 2015; if not earlier, announced by TruBlu and Big Ant.

Since it's in the beta format I've notice a few bugs which I'm sure wil be worked out. 1) when doing facial features you can see the outlines of where everythings goes i.e, hair, eyes, facial hear. It's not seamless yet. 2) In the facial hair some strands are too stringy. I have a goatee and it's full. I chose the closes I could get, but it's not full. And (3) I've have watch alot of Rugby games and the size of these guys thighs are hugh, when I moved the leg cruiser all the way to the right the size of the thighs doen't really change. I've seen the the litle slideshow and it shows these guys with massive size, however, that doesn't it's not on there, it just may mean I could have overlooked it. But overall has it is I would highly recommend this game, especially to the Rugby fans out there like me.
