About This Game

When John "Striker" Gullivan left the SAS, he's been far from thinking about retirement. A skilled sniper, veteran of many covert operations, he was ready to take on the less legal side of the "business".
Working closely with his friend Max - one of the best hackers there are - he quickly earned his fame among other mercenaries and private agencies. Yet, he was cautious enough to avoid standing openly against any legal government. He was even taking semi-official jobs that were too dangerous or too politically risky for any government agenda. This was an easy life.
Until now.

Features:

  • First Person Perspective dynamic adventure shooter powered by the advanced Argon 5 technology.
  • Play the role of a famous mercenary through 5 large, different chapters (14 huge levels total): Iranian hidden nuclear materials' processing plant, Moscow Trade Center where the trouble begins, City Dockyard hit-and-flee mission, Baykonur Cosmodrome shootout, and Iraq terrorist cave search for a missing VIP.
  • Game reflects John's sniper expertise. At the beginning of each chapter he is given 2 sniper rifles - a silenced Arctic Warfare as a primary weapon and additionally one specialised rifle that fits the chapter best, selected from a variety of choices. Additional rifles range from a very fast, semi automatic Saiga with sniper scope to a heavy and deadly Barrett .50.
  • Game simulates bullet ballistics depending on gravity, wind and bullet initial velocity for more realistic experience.
  • Using silencer on the Arctic Warfare or on John's personally modified P99 pistol may be useful at times, as the enemies fully depend on their eyes and ears - and they cannot chase what they don't see nor hear.
  • Playing the game as a "standard" shooter using automatic rifles and pistols taken from dead enemies is of course possible as well - still using sniper tactics over longer distances is easier.
  • Sophisticated enemy AI allows them to fight in groups, using different weapons and explosives, alarming and supporting each other, using terrain and objects in their tactics.
  • Game is powered by advanced technology and renderer that produces beautiful images, full of light, beautiful atmospheric effects, realtime water, reflections, shadows and different, realistic surface materials complete with vivid, living environments with animated plant life, insects and birds.
  • Convincing storyline and action objectives. The player is constantly in contact with his HQ, which feeds him with data and changes mission objectives as he goes.

System Requirements

    Minimum:
    • OS: Windows XP/Vista/7
    • Processor: Pentium Dual Core processor or similar
    • Memory: 1 GB RAM
    • Graphics: Video Adapter compatible with DirectX 9.0c (Pixel Shader 3) with 512 MB RAM

(warning long and could get boring)
i would like to say this game is a ♥♥♥♥ show but if you put it up against the works of digital homicide you can actually appreciate something and that is the fact it looks like some effort was present.
minus the some effort the game is dull and just about all the negative reviews here sum it up pretty well.
so why did i buy it the negative reviews should have been the red flag. at the time i was really into cheap games and i will tell you getting a pretty broken but somewhat playable shooter for 52 cents sounded pretty good at the time * i had on average 70 cents in my steam wallet at the time*. some ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles can come from it and this is the kind of ♥♥♥♥ you sit down and play with a bro completly drunk and laugh at. of course i can't recommend it for anything else. it doesn't really stand as a game and more as a joke that can get pretty old if played for more than 30 minute time frames. if anything this game is one of those 3 to 4 out of 10 games. there will always be worse yet in most situations it is pretty horrendous but some people still find a reason to play it. if i can find a use for it in my inventory then so can someone else.
do i expect you the reader to buy this and find a use ♥♥♥♥ no well unless you're an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like me that gifts bad games to friends for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles

might do a youtube review where i try to tear the game a new ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ someday

I swear to the Nine, I didn't play this garbage-tier game for 13 hours. I hit the exit button about 30 minutes in and the game's process just never ended. It was still somehow running in the background, and I didn't notice it until it was too late. Most of the time I spent "playing" this drivel was actually spent sleeping. I can't believe I wasted system resources on this.

Up yours, Dakota. First you get me Devil's Share, and then this. I got you MORROWIND for Christmas. Morrowind! You know, one of the best RPGs of all time? I get you that, and you get me Devil's Share and Manhunter. Why we're even still friends is a mystery that will baffle even the most resolute and resourceful of anthropologists for years to come.

The fact that I have this game thanks to you, Dakota, is proof that ginger people don't have souls.

You remember how people say that Call of Duty is a dull, generic series of FPS'? Clearly, they haven't played this trash.

Manhunter is quite possibly one of the most generic FPS' out there. A generic story about generic war man doing generic war things, fighting generic enemies with generic weapons, and overall, it's generic (is this review generic enough?). The graphics are bad. The controls are bad. Everything is pretty bad and generic.

Don't bother.

This game seemed as though it would be one of those "so bad it's good" games but when I got into it I soon faced choppy mouse sensitivity and terrible controls. I would have been okay with wasting my money on it if it weren't for this issue as the game looked quite enjoyable otherwise (atleast for what the developer was asking for price wise)

This is no joke; this game should not be on Steam, even if it were free.

Guys, this game is one of the best games I have ever played. I don't understand why everyone hates it so much. The shooting is well refined, the story is above any other game I have ever played, the game is very fluid, and the ai is extremely smart. Please everyone, buy the game, you won't regret it.

If you are a sucker for bad games (like me)... this is the winner hands down.

It's so bad, that it's so good.

I liked it, shut up.

Also, still buy this on a sale.

It reminds me of every bad fps that should be free. (I'm looking at you District 187)

I will recommend buying this piece of ♥♥♥♥!

♥♥♥♥ ass game.
"Press any key to start"
I press space bar and my computer overheats. When I restart it the game says I failed and have to start again. Start a new game. Game is still saved at the last games checkpoint where I can no longer spawn in.
♥♥♥♥ off devs

0.8/8 Manhunter.exe can not communicate

EDIT:
Finally got game working by reinstalling.
Gets past first cutscene
Spawns in ground and cannot move...
