Spy Chameleon - RGB Agent
brings a nice and innovative idea that will keep you entertained for a while.
Unfortunately, as with many other indie games, RGB Agent suffers from the developer's inability to balance the game's difficulty.
There is a "normal" and a "hard" mode, but the normal difficulty is already turned up to eleven.
To name the major annoyances:
- Security cameras are able to see you everywhere
in the level, whether it makes sense or not.
- The security robots are moving way too fast for your chameleon. There is a "turbo" button, but it doesn't make much of a difference.
- The default controls don't make a whole bunch of sense and CANNOT
be changed. How is this acceptable by today's standards is beyond me O.o
- You don't have to have a controller to play this game, but if you do have one, it's going to make your life much easier.
The keyboard controls are out of question and the mouse tends to get "stuck" when it leaves the boundaries of the level, which is a serious problem.
Now I'm not saying that RGB Agent is a terrible game. It's not.
What I'm saying is, if you prefer forgiving games with well balanced difficulty, RGB Agent might not be your cup of tea ;)
