DREAMIO: AI-Powered Adventures is an innovative "choose your own adventure" game powered by the latest advancements in generative AI. Your decisions shape the narrative in real-time, offering a unique, personalized adventure with every playthrough.

Stories are told in the second-person point of view. This lets you interact with the narrator directly. You can ask him about your character or environment, or engage in a debate.

Customizable Gameplay


By default, the narrator will trigger a game over screen if you die and will reject impossible actions. But with simple natural language instructions, you can modify how the narrator operates, adjusting the challenges and freedoms within your story as you see fit.

Thanks to the save system, you can explore different story branches and outcomes freely. Your every decision leads to a unique adventure!

Note: The cloud AI services which power this game come with ongoing operating costs. Your purchase of the game covers these costs up to the amount you paid for the game. Beyond that, to manage these costs, I've introduced an in-game currency called tokens. This approach was chosen to make the costs of operating the game transparent to players. Without the compromise of having tokens to offset these costs, the game would have to be priced higher than AAA titles to be commercially viable over the long term.

If you run out of tokens, you will automatically receive 10,000 tokens for free each day. If you wish to bypass the token system entirely, you can do so by providing your own API keys, or by substituting cloud models with local ones at the expense of speed and/or quality.

This game uses AI to dynamically generate stories, illustrations, and voiceovers in response to player input. By default, Inference is done in the cloud, so the game runs fast and on any hardware. Local inference is also supported.

Cloud inference uses GPT-3.5 Turbo for text generation and Stable Diffusion XL for image generation. For speech synthesis, it uses Google Cloud or OpenAI TTS, depending on in-game settings. Additional special effects are created with the help of the Replicate API.

By default, this game uses its own keys for API calls. You also have the option to provide your own OpenAI, DreamStudio, or Replicate API keys.

For local inference, you can use any large language model in .gguf format; any Stable Diffusion model in .safetensors, .ckpt, .diffusers, or .gguf formats; and any VITS or JETS models in .sentis format.
