Lets try this one more time. I triple checked no broken constants now, should work just fine in game and out.

Waking up today was my biggest misstake. What a failed day.

Alot of Fixes to online multiplayer

We have sat down to read the most "helpful" reviews which are mostly negative since there have been problems in the game. We really worked hard and took action to fix all those, and have managed to iron them out! I'd like to personally thank everyone who has taken the time to actually write a review of the game, negative or positive. It helps alot to be able to read them! After all thats what we want, a product as flawless as possible!

Haven't played in about a year or so. But ultimately one of the best and cheapest rogue-like hack and slashes I've ever played while still offering an increasingly difficult challenge through levels.

Simply amazing. Well done devs

A really great game 7/10, many hours of entertainment. Hoping to see more bug fixes and patches but the price was worth it. The main town is pretty lame with not a lot to buy and no real quest's which is kinda of a bummer because if there was objectives it would make things a little less aimless. Other then that I see some great potential for the game, hopefully the devs can add more cities and a good back story. If I see some positive changes I can very much see myself playing this game years to come

TL;DR version at the bottom

Let me start by saying, the Dev's for this game are the most human i have ever seen. Just look at the update news and try to tell me otherwise.

Now to start; When i started playing this i had it on my phone, it was free on google play so i thought, ♥♥♥♥ it, 6 hour road trip might be worth it to have a game to play. The port to mobile at the time was garbage but i could tell there was hella potential here so i kept watch on it. Fast forward a few months and boom! It came up in my queue on here, I bought it for like 49 cents that i had aquired through selling the steam trading cards to suckers. Since then i have bought almost every DLC that there is and have played countless offline hours of this game because its just as good offline and alone as it is online! The announcer voice is a little arrogant considering you can kill him by the time youre level 30 with no problem, but thats easily ignored ( though i still mock him after every wave [God im so lonely])

Looking at this game now compared to what it was when i first found it, there is a substantial difference in the funcionality and performence of the game, the new champions to play as and new enemies are all rad and it still keeps getting better and better!

This game lands hard as one of my favorite games and I will always hold it close to my heart!

TLD;DL cheap fun, kinda like a hooker without the STDS and wont steal your wallet either because the dlc is also cheap

Horrible menu, no tutorial or description about any of the elements in the game, enemies can one hit and its impossible to see which enemy is which and it makes dodging one of the hardest possible tasks. Game crashes repetedly, multiplayer is bugged with loads of crashes, logging in to the "online" takes forever and the characters aren't shared between multiplayer and singleplayer. Bosses aren't put together witha single thought that some classes might be useless against them, for example skeleton summoner whos skeletons dissappear when entering a boss room where there are no minions to summon skeletons from. None of the ingame windows have close buttions, you have to navigate with wasd, f, g and r, game does not pause while in inventory. Overall this might be worse than ♥♥♥♥ing dinosaur hunt africa, totally horrible diablo ripoff without decency to even work properly, worst purchase ever made.

This game has potential, yes. And initially, I really liked it.

So it is quite sad to see that so much potential is simply wasted by such a sloppy bug and change management.
Taking into account that the developer team is quite small I can live with some minor bugs.

What I cannot accept, however, is the amount of serious, unnerving bugs which occur although the game has been released in January 2014.

There seems to be no "stable branch" and "nightly branch" support for this game like e.g. Starbound offers.

Vexorian says (quote):

"We have sat down to read the most "helpful" reviews which are mostly negative since there have been problems in the game. We really worked hard and took action to fix all those, and have managed to iron them out! "

Some bugs I found in yesterday's build :
- coins have the same value (1 Gold)
- characters in multiplayer get mixed up
- game terminates to main screen without explanation
- there are numerous issues regarding synchronization of multiplayer games (e.g. in crypts when solving the puzzles with movable pillars, when entering dungeons, etc.).
- mutliplayer has been taken offline due to bug fixing / testing today

So, IMHO the problems have not been ironed out at all. I wonder why such a patch is even released where it certainly could not have been tested throughly. I cannot shake the feeling that paying customers are treated as pre-alpha testers.

It is really sad, because many good ideas have found their way into this game already.

Sorry, but all things considered I have to give this a "thumbs down".
Maybe my opinion will change when the game has finally become more stable.

Some helpful review over there, I promise.
Black Ops 3 is worth 60 euros.
Hero Siege is worth 0.59 euros. On sale.
Let's think about it.
It means that you can get 101 copies of Hero Siege for 60 euros.
Now let me ask you, would you rather BO3 or 101 copies of Hero Siege?
The decision is pretty much made for you.

Disclaimer: I purchased this game using my own funds, and I do not write a review on a game that I have not paid for myself, because I believe they should be fair and unbiased. I don't believe you can get that unless you invest your own funds and support developers, and provide a personal sense of "value".

This is a great rogue-like hack and slash title that is sure to waste some free time. If you are a fan of Diablo, World of Warcraft, Torchlight, The Binding of Isaac, Fate, Legend of Zelda and many others, you will have some fun with this, as you can see elements of each game brought into this in their own unique ways. You have skills and talents to level up to further make your character unique, as you progress through various acts, all with unique background layouts that are quite fun. The comments your character makes from time to time are fun, and in 3 hours didn't get old or too overused to detract from gameplay. It has relics you collect that further enhance your skills as you play, all with unique effects. And hey - Trading Cards! Achievements!

I originally bought this game on sale for $2 and with that being said, is probably where the price point should be. The DLC is also way overpriced for the content that it delivers. While I fully appreciate the time and effort and creativity that these developers put into this game (and they *are* active), I experienced quite a few glitches with online play in just 3 hours. I also found the UI to be a bit un-intuitive, and it takes a short while to figure out how things work. But once you do, play progresses rather smoothly.

There are quite a few regular glitches (that they are currently working on), but I really feel it has earned its very positive rating. It really does have quite a bit going for it!

I can't speak much for single player play, as my experience thus far has solely been multiplayer, and aside from the glitches, I would recommend this game on sale. It has its own unique charm and blend of so many elements, the fun it provides was well worth the $2 I spent. When the bugs get worked out, and the price of the DLC drops to maybe $.99 each, I might put some more time into it. Honestly, we may just play it again a little more tomorrow....it was pretty fun.

At $5.99 I would not purchase this game in its current state. Once all the bugs are worked out, and if the DLC gets included into that price, it would be a solid buy. If you catch it on sale, though, it will be a much better value.

I liked this game a lot, and it would be one of my go to games to play around and have fun in; i even learned everything necessary to play with my friends online: then they added a new mechanic, mana. Having a mana bar instead of just cooldowns on abilities made all the characters i had fun playing nearly useless. Even now characters that are focused around abilities are terrible in comparison to the ones who have passive damage after x amount of attacks. It makes the game a lot less fun, and variety is almost non-existant. If there was a way to go back to what it was i would in a heart beat.

The game is pretty fine and has nice potential. Altough I have a few gripes with the devs. Multiplayer is fairly unpolished, with some bugs in different forms, but single player and local coop are significantly better. I am annoyed at some changes in some updates. For example, replacing the paladin's tri-hammer skill with a nearly useless single hammer skill. This is one of my biggest gripes as the paladin has been and still is one of my favourite classes but it is so annoying to use holy hammer and remember how awesome the skill used to be. Regardless I reccomend this game to any looking for a nice single/ local coop hack n slash game.

The game is still trying to find itself long after it has released. I want to love this game but I feel like it's shifting around too much and pushing the 'extra' content which I am not sure I want to pay up for. The gameplay can get quite monotonous at times, there's not too much of a shake-up of playstyle. It's so close to being brilliant and yet never completely hooks me.

Game is a lot of fun. Can't go wrong for the price.

The DLC is a bit over priced for what it's worth, and without it you're basically playing the "Demo" of the game.

The game is far too heavily reliant on gear though, which is a shame. I went from having a +15, to +86, to a +2000 damage weapon within 10 levels, kind of explosively exponential growth.

Bought it on sale for 65 cents SGD, found meaning of life and had more fun immediately than a usual 20-40 dollar game. 10/10 would lose faith in big games again.
