leveled for several hours and then Shoguns character rolled back to level 2 all the way from level 30 and the game is broken, unplayable and filled with lag and glitches that are server side and not client side...waste of life and time

I liked this game up until an hour in and I recieved the message "Your connection has been inturrupted." I think "okay, maybe a connection problem." I log off for the night. Next morning I decide to log back in, no character. I created a new one and play, once again, an hour in I recieve the same message and am logged out. New character gone. I enjoyed the gameplay (What you would expect of an MMO) although the camera controls are a bit frustrating during a fight. Perhaps I will give it another try later but for now I think I will find a different MMO. (I am kind of a new player on PC so that also influences my opinion.)

rollbacks without warning and trash compensation.
3/10 might play if bored, not worth it when days of progress can be lost instantly.

Be me
Play this game
Been playing for 12 hours already, sweat dripping down my arms as I continue leveling furiously
Decide to take a break, sleep
Developers smash down my door at 4AM in the morning
Rollback time!
All progress is gone
"But you could just do it again!" he says, "We'll make it quicker with some buffs!"
It's a shame half of that time was spent getting titles and achievements that aren't sped up by any sort of buff.
I guess the game would be worth it if you somehow manage not to have this happen to you.

Ignore the hours. I didn't play the game on Steam, but I've spent quite a bunch of hours on the game downloading it through their launcher (60-70 hours or so). Only downloaded it to write a review.

Now let's get to the review:
Aura Kingdom is nothing fancy. If you search for innovation you won't find it here (and anywhere to be fair, sadly the last game that really changed the genre was WoW).
It's a solid and fun, WoW inspired, MMORPG with nice graphics.
It's Free-mium, which means you CAN spend money on the game for cosmetics, but you don't have to. It doesn't give you an advantage but makes the game more attractive I suppose? (Never understood paying for cosmetics but some people really like it, look at LoL)
It's no MMORPG were you'll spend 2k-3k hours like some others *cough* WoW *cough* (dark times, guys) but it's a really fun way to pass the time. You have lots of different classes to try out and re-try the game with. Every class is different and, thus, the way you experience the game is different. With some you tank and spank, with others you really have to position intelligently if you want to make things right.
The game isn't frustrating by making you Grind the same monster for +50h but you can't really rush through it without grinding either (it mantains a good equilibrium with that).
You can solo the game in case your friends dont play MMORPG's (♥♥♥♥ you, guys) or play it with a couple friends you'll be able to finish the game without mayor problems in either way.
Of course it has some flaws. A few little bugs here and there (nothing game-breaking, really) and some people don't like that the game is rather short for a MMORPG as they normally require at least a few hundred hours to complete. Let's just say it isn't a deep MMORG but a little game to have fun with when you have nothing to do and/or want to relax a bit.
Overall a really nice game and I recommend it to every fan of the genre. Polished, fun and Free2Win. Seems good enough, right?

Damn, now I want to play the game again... Well, why not? I don't even need friends to play with (again, ♥♥♥♥ you, guys...)

You need gold to pretty much do anything in this game if you want to succeed. Getting gold is the problem though since lvl 80 drops are way too rare and the only other way without spending money is to play the paragon table with ruby coins that you can get once a week with loyalty points. There are other ways that can get you gold basically instantly which is by purchasing ap (this requires real money) and selling ruby coins in the auction and getting the tiered spender items that would be worth the most gold. Some players are just lucky and know people who are rich in-game and get gold from them.

The game is not pay to win but if you do pay you get things 100 times faster than you would without spending
Overall the game is pretty good though

Aura Kingdom is pretty easy combat wise (movement, jump casting, locking on, etc.) but not so easy getting what you want. There's 2 basic ways of getting what you want.
1. You can play the game free and waste days/weeks/months grinding for just one item and as well as gold.
2. You pay money for AP (Aeria Points) and spend your money on the item mall in game or on the website and buy items then put them into the auction for gold.
The 2nd way gets you gold way faster and you can basically get anything you want just like all the rich kids in the game that try to show off that their rich in world chat and Navea. Overall, the game is ok I guess, it does get boring if you don't have a friend or a group of friends to do dungeons with and/or don't have the things needed to advance in the game such as: levels, (which they fixed but some people still get stuck) stared and fortifed weapons, stared and fortified armor, eidolon buffs, gaia emblem, and other buffs such as foods. I rate this game 9/10 could be better.

This was one of my first MMORPGs, aside from Mabinogi, which was unique and different from other MMOs. And, of course, my newest computer had a sucky graphics card which couldn't - and still can't - run Mabinogi properly. So, I decided to search around and I found this game.

It's fun as hell.

I've gotten to lvl 21 in the timespan of five hours. Very fun times.

The quests are the usual 'Search for X and give it to Y' or 'Kill X amount of Y', but I honestly don't mind that. To me, those kinds of things don't bug me much. The storyline is the major portion of the game for me. And, from what I've seen so far, this storyline isn't half bad. The Eidolons are pretty kickass too.

The classes are unique and cool in their different ways - you have no idea how much I struggled to find the proper one that I really wanted to use. They all have different strengths and weaknesses and they provide the players with different playing styles a chance to succeed as well.

TL;DR - A pretty good MMORPG that I would recommend to my friends. Nothing too out of the ordinary, but still unique in it's own way.

Not gonna write too much, but I will say what I like and dislike about AK.

-Graphics. One of the most beautiful MMOs I've ever played.
-Gameplay. It's great that you don't need MP/Mana for attacks since they have cooldowns instead.
-Classes. The classes are very diversed, in my opinion.
-Eidolons. I love the eidolon system because it's definitely something new that has been brought to the table of MMOs.

-Quests. Most of them are usually fetch or killing quests. But occasionally there are quests that let you take a new perspective on a situation.
-A few translation errors. Very rare, but it does make it a little confusing to some players.
-Grinding. Yes, it's gonna happen. No matter which MMO you're playing, it's gonna happen.
-Like all games, glitches. It's not a rare sight to see a bug or glitch happening, despite how good a game is.

That's all that I have to say. I might be nitpicking a little but that's just me. Overall, try AK out. It's definitely one of my favourite MMOs.
