So I got banned for no reasons. They asked me to restore my account and bla bla bla. But I'm so sorry! Ain't got any time for this. I just put some cash in a few months ago and this is how they repay me. Well I guess that's the end of the story of me and this game. To the developer, thank you for ♥♥♥♥♥ up a beautiful game. Stop banning the others for no reason as I do not wish to see there's only AI roaming in this beautiful world.

Sincerely from an upset player and once a loyal AK-ian,

Any anime games that Aeria Games published, I have a certain interest in them. For Aura Kingdom, I pretty quite liked it. The graphics are vibrantly coloured and the way or features implemented in the game, they are good.

P2Win? No.

All gear currency is earned through playing. gear can be "fortified" up to +20. In many MMO's the higher ranks have a chance of breaking the item if you fail. This game is the exact opposite, if you fail enough the item gets upgraded instead of breaking.

Now that that's out of the way, I wanted to share how the game works.

You quest (same old kill mobs/collect style thats been around forever). There are dungeons, both group and solo content.

Cash shop: As mentioned earlier, no cash shop advantages. If you want to argue that being able to buy things like xp boosts and whatnot is pay2win, you have no idea what youre talking about. You can advance your characters faster with cash shop, but they wont provide you with an ADVANTAGE over anybody else. Basically the fortification system is not a pay2win system like it is in so many of these asian MMOs. There are no "real money stat boosts" to speak of either.

Visuals: The game looks great and runs well on my semi-modern 700$ PC (gtx 950, i5 6500, 8gb ram, 850 PRO SSD). The art is very anime style and the effects are well done.

Story: Despite the bland gameplay of the quests, the story and setting are quite interesting IMO.

Classes: Lots of classes.

Loyalty Points: An Alternative currency you acquire by playing the game that can be used in place of cash shop money to use in the cash shop.

The chat window: Settings for the chat window do not save on client restart. The default "general" tab is mostly trade chat spam. Sellers and buyers completely dominate the window most new players will see as well as gold spammers. If I wasnt actively fiddlng with the chat window I wouldnt have ever known someone even whispered me or seen guild chat.

Sound design: For the most part all skills sound almost exactly the same. If you pay attention to games such as WoW or Guild Wars 2, youll notice skills have such an iconic sound you can tell whats happening with your eyes closed half the time. In Aura Kingdom the sound design does not contribute to your awareness whatsoever. The music is pretty generic Asian MMO as well.

Questing: Bland and generic quest system thats in a thousand games. Kill these, collect these. Over and over and over and over. A lot of people like my self have no problem tolerating that sort of thing though.

Eidolons (youll learn what they are) and new loot kept popping up over my quest tracker and blocking the button you can click to autopath. Pretty annoying, especially since the Eidolon that pops up cant be closed quickly and you need to wait for it to go away/ Might just be my resolution though.

Pro/con depending on who you ask

Autopathing: Game has autopathing and you will be doing a lot of it.

Character design: Premade faces with no "slider" customization. You can however acquire many costumes, hats and weapon skins and dye your armor. Personally I felt I was able to customize character so its pretty unique.

Grind level: not so bad in the beginning, but getting and upgrading the end game items to max is extremely grindy.

Battlefield: Havnt tried all the pvp types, but the one I tried involved putting players in 2 groups regardless of their level and making them fight. At lvl 53 with full pvp gear, People could blow air at me and id drop dead right then and there. Like honestly, I had 20k hp with -50% crit dmg from players and about -20% total damage from players on top of that due to my pvp gear, someone hit me for over 800k with one ability, when my max hp was just barely over 20k. So yeah. Dueling people around your level is fun though.

I have played about almost 130 hours in this game. It's AWESOME, I jumped into this mmo because my sweetie and I wanted a game where we could play together. This game is cute, there are tons of things to do, the classes are interesting, and the outfits *w* the many choices and -squee- so much fun! 10/10!

I played this game in Beta for a little bit, then forgot about it. So I picked it back up on steam. It's been a little while since I played, but I really enjoyed playing this game with friends. It's probably best to play with friends, to be honest, and I think I might pick it up again soon.

Just ignore the hours it says I have. I didn't initally have this game through Steam. I don't usually write reviews, but Aura Kingdom is different for me. I have played it since beta. Not constantly. I would start it, love it, play obsessively for a month, get bored, move on, come back, repeat. Now, I actually hate this game. It is a grind fest, the combat is awkward, and it is generally a really boring game. And yet despite this, I always come back to it. Why? Because it's a beautiful. Because I like getting to glide. I like having a free ostrich mount. The costumes are cute and the costimizations you can make to your character's apperance are endless. It is a grindfest, yes, but because of this, you can't really pay to win. You HAVE to put the work in to get good gear and level up and all that. My favorite thing about it, though, is how unique you can make your character with the skill points and tree. I also really love being able to get a secondary class. I've always hated being stuck to a singular class when combining some can help make you even greater.

Basically, to enjoy this game you have to level up. You have to get past like, level 45-50ish to really start getting to the meat of the game. Getting to that point will require some serious patience. It is boring and dulls the mind but if you get past that, it's a pretty okay game.

Excellent game, sure it's a free-mium game, but it's pretty much a free wow/mmorpg game. Best 3d mmorpg game I've ever played. Though, this game is most compatible with 32 bit operating systems, which is bad for me with windows 10. I experience crashes/freezing and extreme stuttering during gameplay, but this game is so good that I reload my laptop and play the game again anyway.

Played this up to about level 10 (which only took a couple hours at most) and hopped around to different characters trying them out, and the conclusion I've come to is .

If you want a carebear game, where you can play the whole time without even touching the keyboard, this game is for you! It even takes you to quest destinations and npcs just by clicking on the quest tracker. You get "flying" and a ground mount withing the first 3-5 levels. I never got into crafting, so I can't say anything about that.

As far as artwork goes, it's a very stylized anime type artwork, which looks pretty decent, and there weren't any real animation issues I noticed like other F2P games have. Overall pretty smooth.

If you want a free game you can play with a friend/lover/neighbor's pet then this game is great for you. I'm anticipating they add automated combat soon so they game will play itself for you while you watch.
