Following the success of the RPG-Parody Grotesque Tactics franchise, comes a spin-off nestled in the heart of a tropical zombie bevvy of beauties against the greatest hero of them all, conveniently titled: Holy Avatar vs. Maidens of the Dead

As the story goes...

...after the last great battle, our hero Holy Avatar decides to grab a little R&R with his Guild of Maidens on a Caribbean island he recently purchased and renamed “Holy Island”.

Upon arrival on the beach, he makes a gruesome discovery; numerous dead maidens, horribly mutilated, are scattered all over the island and what’s worse, they’re not staying dead! Holy Avatar must put down his mai tai and investigate this strange and unsettling turn of events. New adventures, new hazards and, did we mention the zombies… await our hero and his companions inside the dense woods and caves of this once idyllic island.

일단 게임성은 꽝이다. 전투가 도무지 재미가 없고 늘어진다. 도대체 스킬트리가 왜있는건지 파악도 안 되고, 스탯이 이 게임에 얼마나 큰 비중을 차지하는지는 전혀 파악이 안 된다. 독이나 출혈 같은 상태이상도 존재하긴 하는데 걸리나 안 걸리나 별로 차이점이 없다. 그나마 무기 바꾸면 데미지 들어가는게 좀 다르긴 하다만.

게임 분위기도 뭔가 매우 이상하다. 배경은 판타지인데 음악은 인도 분위기나는 것 부터가 엄청 어색하기 짝이 없다. 판타지 분위기에 바이오하자드에나 보일법한 좀비들이 기어다니는 것도 괴상하고, 선글라스를 착용한 성기사같은 녀석은 말하는 거 하나하나가 여간 얼간이가 아니다. 등장인물들이 나름 분위기 살려보겠다고 개그를 좀 치는 모양인가본데 정말 더럽게 재미없다. 그래도 문화가 비슷한 해외 사람들이라면 어떻게 받아들일 진 모르겠지만, 일단 나한텐 정말이지 더럽게 재미없다. 줄거리도 도대체 이게 뭘 하자는건지 그래서 언데드를 정화하겠다는건지 마을을 구하겠단건지 아니면 그냥 폭발물 처리하는 개그를 하겠다는건지 감도 안 잡힌다.

말이 길었지만, 간단히 말하자면 그냥 쓰레기 게임.

한 40분 진행하면 여캐 옷 하나 얻을 수 있을텐데, 그거 갈아입히는 거 하나 재밌다. (이 게임 포럼의 스크린샷란을 가면 온통 그런 화면들밖에 없다. -_-) 복장 퀄리티가 나쁘진 않으니까, 그거 감안하면서 지루한 거 참을 수 있는 사람은 이 게임 해도 좋다.

버서커 상태가 되면, 프로그램적으론 모두가 적인 팀으로 일시적으로 전환이 되는데

버서커 상태가 끝나고, 원래 팀으로 바뀌어야 할것이 무소속으로 전환되는 버그가 있습니다

이 무소속이 될경우 적도 아군도 공격하지 못합니다.

적이 무소속 적만 남으면 전투가 바로 종료되고 대화모드로 변하구요

우리팀원한테 하나 걸렸는데,들어오는 순간부터 엔딩볼때까지 단 하나의 적도 공격하지 못했습니다

우리팀이 딱 3명이라는게 함정...

이 버그가 2편에서도 존재했었다는게 함정

존망이네요 진짜..
