«This story is not one that can be told quickly. Both writing the story and creating the images and animations takes a considerable amount of time and effort. Early Access allows me to get the game in front of players early, and to be able to use feedback from early players to correct issues and improve future content.»

«Unexpected Consequences is currently planned to be five or six chapters long, plus an epilogue. As of version 0.5, 8 of 9 days of Chapter 1 are complete and I anticipate releasing day 9 in October or November. Posing and rendering the CG stills and animations is the greatest factor in development time, but I have worked towards reducing the time taken through process improvements and updated hardware. Chapter 2 is already written and ready for me to start creating art for it as soon as Chapter 1 is finished. I plan to continue to accelerate my development pace and am currently targeting completion by the end of 2025. Until then, you can expect regular updates to the game with additional content.»
