Miksi Early Access?

This story is not one that can be told quickly. Both writing the story and creating the images and animations takes a considerable amount of time and effort. Early Access allows me to get the game in front of players early, and to be able to use feedback from early players to correct issues and improve future content.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

Unexpected Consequences is currently planned to be five or six chapters long, plus an epilogue. As of version 0.5, 8 of 9 days of Chapter 1 are complete and I anticipate releasing day 9 in October or November. Posing and rendering the CG stills and animations is the greatest factor in development time, but I have worked towards reducing the time taken through process improvements and updated hardware. Chapter 2 is already written and ready for me to start creating art for it as soon as Chapter 1 is finished. I plan to continue to accelerate my development pace and am currently targeting completion by the end of 2025. Until then, you can expect regular updates to the game with additional content.

The full version is planned to include the complete story of five to six chapters plus epilogue and I am currently plotting three or four major alternate endings along with many minor differences based on your choices.

The early Access version currently contains the first eight of Chapter 1's nine days. This is over 45,000 words of narration and dialog, more than 2,300 3D images, and almost 100 animations.

Once the game leaves Early Access, the price will most likely increase. There is also the possibility of the price slightly increasing at some point during Early Access as more content is added.

Follow the story of a sophomore at Ocean City University with a tragic past. Three years after a close friend's unfortunate accident, followed shortly by the death of your parents, two new young women come into your life, triggering a chain of events that lead to you reconnecting with your first love and learning the truth about the events of three years ago.

With the help of some of your parents' former FBI colleagues and an international task force, you'll dive head first into an investigation that will expose a ruthless syndicate who's reach extends far beyond Ocean City, making new friends along the way and choosing which relationships to nurture into something more. Be careful though, as some choices will make you the arbiter of life and death and some consequences may just be unexpected.

Experience a stirring story and enjoy the companionship of the lovely ladies in your life as you navigate a path towards extricating the Syndicate from your life and the lives of those close to you.

In this choice-based adult visual novel, you will make decisions that will alter your relationships with those around you and guide the story down divergent paths. Along the way, you will unlock bonus images in the image gallery, earn achievements, and encounter animated lewd scenes, unlocking them in the replay gallery.
