Even if you liked Scribblenauts Unlimited but don't know much about DC Universe, don't bother playing this. You'll find yourself without knowing what to do.

Also the thing that takes points from you when you use the same word over and over takes a lot of fun from it.

It's a good game, but not good as Scribblenauts Unlimited was, storyline is almost linear and looks like the game have less objects than the previous one.

I usually don't review games like this, buuut I think I should.

I want to first say that it wasn't a let down, but I don't completely recommend it. If you enjoyed the other Scribblenauts games, there's a chance you won't really enjoy this one. Instead of the last games, there's not unique places and certain quests to do. The quests in this game are repeatative and you have to do the same ones over and over again despite what location you go to. For instance, someone tells you to bring 3 people their donuts; you find this task numerous times in gameplay. There are many others that you'll find yourself getting deja vu.

The controls and mechanics are still the same for the most part. The only difference is that you can't use the same word twice in one location gameplay or you'll be tallied -50 points. You also can't create your own avatar either, you're stuck using the vanilla Maxwell character. Another thing is there's much more talking in this game; yet there's still little character development. A few cameos of the last game were mentioned.

However, if you're a DC fan, you might enjoy it. I'm personally a Marval fan so I wasn't too fimilar with much besides Batman. Although there are mostly all of the DC characters you can imagine; even original ones from generations ago. You can visit their unique locations and do their missions and experience their past life in a quest.

So in general, Scribblenauts fans be careful of buying it because it's not what you're expecting. If you're just looking for some entertainment, DC and easy achievements, go ahead and grab it. I'd wait for it to go back on sale though.

I love this game *^*
The imagination and creativity Scribblenauts has, combined with the DC comics world is extremely fun and entertaining. In this you will meet ALL your favourite heroes from the DC universe, sorry Marvel... ;x
You can create almost anything you want, but now with Super-heroes :D
Let your inner-child run free with this great game c;

The downside is that it's not the longest game a there is virutally no exploration. Ultimately very linear yet still fun :33

Scribblenauts Unlimited was amazing. This game is just boring. All of the freedom and creativity of Unlimited is gone, forcing you into very specific predefined solutions. It also tries to be more story-driven by including missions with a lot of famous characters, but that just doesn't work out well. Avoid.

Big Fan of the Scribblenauts Games. So far I've only played the other games released on my DS, which I take everywhere to fight boredom. This Game combines not only Imagination and Creativity like the others, but also one of my favourite Comic Franchise. Which pushes it up a step further. Playing this on PC is much more enjoyable, better quality but still plenty of Fun. Great entertainment and awesome for everybody. The things you can make with a little dash of imagination and creativity inside the games is amazing and I highly recommend that you get all the games available in the franchise of Scribblenauts if you can. But for outstanding quality and freedom of creation I would recommend this and Scribblenauts Unlimited.
9.5 outta 10 from me. \(^_^)/
