I like evolving my own species. How about you? I'm introducing Spore: Galactic Adventures. The original Spore does the same, Galactic Adventures is just an expansion pack, improving Space stage only. When I first started this game, I was expecting, not a only a galaxy, but an entire universe to explore. I was a bit disappointed when I found out that it was only a galaxy to explore.

What do you do in Spore? You evolve your customizable species from a single cell stage to a technologically advanced species capable of interstellar space travel. But keep one thing in mind...

You are not alone...

In the galaxy, other aliens will be evolving on another habitable planet. They could be in creature, tribal, civilization or even in space stage. You can even communicate and buy items from them.

When your in interstellar space, you can go to other solar systems and setup a colony on one of those planets or a gas giant moon.

Whatever your species is, a carnivore, herbivore or omnivore, the amount of planets you can visit is a larger number than all stars in the galaxy.

This is a pretty good expansion to Spore, adding a lot more to the Space levels. However, with the inability to reach user-made levels now that servers are down (I'm pretty sure) I cannot recommend buying this over regular Spore, as all it adds is the 12 or so preloaded Maxis levels.

The best part is that every adventure you play was made by a real person and not game designers.

Game routinely locks up. If you don't save the game maunally often you lose your world. Enjoyed the game while it lasted. Not enough though to keep replaying same thing waiting for the next lock up.

Can't run on newer versions of Windows.
No "online" play anymore cause EA just don't care.

The gameplay is a bunch of boring and lifeless minigames.

This actually turned into one of the worst games on Steam

This game, can be incredibly fun if you use your imagination... Heck, ive spent atleast 130 hours on this game so far! The main new feature is, you get to make your little creatures complete tasks that you make! Instead of survival and evolution, it's exploring. Wanna see who would win in a fight, a giant pear or a giant apple? Buy this! Again, its a good game. The only thing bad about it, is that it has a few ton of bugs. Like, if someone plays your adventure, it says that they didn't, stuff like that. It's only 20 dollars, which is a fair price, but, you need the regular spore to run galactic adventures, so those both will cost you 40 bucks, but, you can just save 10 if you buy the spore + spore galactic adventures bundle. So, buy this!

This game is an amazing horror experience. It succeeds where Outlast and Amnesia fail. I have seen skeleton's, zombies and a Slenderman.

This game was simple but enjoyable up to Tribe stage. I liked to construct my cell in the beginning, I liked to travel the land as Animal, upgrading myself even more. I was slightly troubled by Tribe stage, because it feels the same as Animal, only worse, with no new abilities and the very limited set of equipment. Very quick stage, though.

But then Civilization stage came, and I gave up. It's RTS in it's worst sense: without smart pause, with miniature semi-blind map, quirky controls and the very fast speed. Thank you, but no thank you. Without me.

I suppose, it could be enjoyable for someone else though, not so slow as me.

Seems like the first stages of the game are over entirely too quickly, but the galactic stage is fun.

Spore is the most immersive evolution game ever made, Although it was released a few years ago this game is still just as entertaining and fun as most if not all of my more recent game purchases. there are five stages changing the game dynamics from a simple arcade style all the way to conquering galaxies in a half first person- half third person galactic adventure.

I don't know if I can recconmend the DLC or not but just for how many Negatives I'm going to add in this Reivew I'll just make it a not recconmended reiview.
The upsides are this DLC gives you the power to make adventures in a world similar to the Creature stage, You can also use the things you used in combat as a creature and the things you used to socialize.
It is recconmended you start with the Social missions first so try to avoid missions such as Temple of Spode and Infestation until you get weapons (One type of various rewards you get each time you level up) and if you want the Full-On package you'll have to download Creepy and Cute parts so you can get even more playable missions, otherwise the creatures you will find that have Creepy and cute packs will be replaced with some of Maxis's Creations.
(That's kind of a downside seeing you need to spend more money to get access to certain community made Adventures)
The Downsides are the amount of Adventures made by people that have no idea what they are doing and trust me there are ALOT of those missions and you're probably going to end up with plenty of them when It automatically downloads creations for you. (You can get some pretty decent Adventures though if you're lucky)
You're also probably going to have to give your creature high stats on about everything and give them the ability to jump because most adventures don't support that and you'll probably get stuck on one step, That's also one thing you have to keep in mind if you want to make an adventure where anybody can play as ANY creature, or if they haven't god jump boosts yet or you should make a little warning about it at the beggining about Obstacles or parts they wont be able to beat without a certain feature.t
If you want to make an adventure you'll have to put alot of effort into it if you want everybody to like it, Which is a bad thing if you haven't got the time.

TL;DR version: Upsides: A whole new way of playing Space Stage and the Ability to make adventures to entertain other users.
Downsides: There's going to be alot of trash and I mean alot of trash, Not ALL adventures will be compatible with certain creatures so keep that in mind if your creature cannot fly or jump, You'll have to put some effort into an adventure if you want others to enjoy it, Which is a downside for people that are too busy.

4/10
