November and still no multiplayer. Add to that the fact that you can't play most (any?) user-created content without buying the season pass.

Not as good as Trials Evolution Gold, but still a lot of fun. I wish there were more maps at the lighter difficulties.

It's really sad to see what happened to this game. Trials Evolution was one of the best, if not the best, gaming experiences I've ever had. I had it on the 360 and poured so much time into it. It was the community that sucked me in. I played the singler player for a while before dabbling in the track creation, and only because I had a project in mind that I wanted to see completed. I never really meant to become a editor junkie, but one private multiplayer led to a friend request which led to more private multiplayer which led to more friend requests. Before I knew it, I had maxed out my friends list on Xbox Live, which was crazy considering I only had about 20 people as friends on there before Trials. There were people on Trials all the time, and it was usually only a matter of seconds after my Xbox went online before I was in a party with a crew of Trials players.

Trials to me was always about this community. Sure, I grinded out plats on all the single player tracks, but that was only because the community egged me on. Most of the time was spent either in the editor, working on something for friends to test in private mp, or testing out someone else's track in a different private mp session.

There always was a nagging desire to test out something new in the editor, even if it never saw the light of day. Trying to find ways around the glitchy physics was like a somewhat broken jigsaw puzzle. It was a blast to see something that found ways around the limitations in the engine and made things happen that got everyone excited. If there wasn't multiplayer on Trials, I would have never gone to the forums or dedicated time in the editor.

Then I gave my Xbox to someone, originally just to borrow while I moved. I had planned on taking it back, but for one reason or another I didn't. I gave up Trials cold turkey and the community faded away for me. I quit just as the first DLC was coming out, whatever time that was, and only came back into Trials when I saw Fusion on Steam. I was so excited to get back into it. I hopped on the pre-release beta as soon as I could.

The magic formula is gone though. Maybe it will come back, but it was such a simple formula that I couldn't believe they would screw it up: Sharing creations with friends and constantly challenging yourself to improve. The second part is still there, but what constituted the heart of the game to me is gone. The leaderboard chasers can still enjoy this, but I never cared about that. If you can't play this game with friends, then there's no point in it for me anymore. I tried making a few tracks, but that was lacking too. Most of the fun in the editor never actually made it to the public, either because it was too stupid or glitchy to release or because it was just fragments of ideas that popped into existence for a single attempt and then was discarded.

I tried to keep hope that Redlynx would fix things, but that has proved pointless so far. I'm partly upset with myself for falling for the pre-release trap. Even companies that you expect to make gold can produce plastic. You'll hear lots of words about the future of Fusion and how everything is going to be fine, but actions speak louder than words. Bringing out paid DLC before even finishing the features (multiplayer) advertised when I bought the game was the final knife in the back. Everytime I see Fusion in my library I wish it was worth playing, but until Redlynx brings in private mp again I won't touch it. Even if they do, I wonder if I'll have any interest left for it.

Trials Fusion is a work of beauty.

I may not be an aficionado, having only spent ~100 hours playing the original. Mostly by myself, but often with friends, loving every second of it. I've probably crashed 100,000 times, but I have a few accomplishments in the more extreme trials that I'm proud of.

If that describes your love of the game, then you will like this one too. I've read that some people have problems with framerates, but I have not. The video options allow for a lot of tweaking to match your video card's capabilities it seems. I have 18 hours clocked on Trials Fusion at the time of writing this review.

This is a fun game.
Highly recommended if you get it on sale with the Season Pass.

I haven't accepted UPlay into my heart. It is more just a fact of life. Like billboards, advertisements and occasionally stepping in human feces.

Graet trials game just like the previous ones, but for some reason the developers decided to try and release this game without multiplayer, which pretty much killed the game for me. However ubisoft have recently stated that they have decided they are bringing online into the game sometime in 2015. Graphics a b-e-autiful

Awesome addition to the series. Great game. Incredibly creative track designs. Outstanding graphics. Controlabillity is the best in the series. The only real disappointment I have is that I was really hoping to see online multiplayer.

This game is basically useless without the Season Pass, there's so little content. I'm basically done with the game after three hours, and I can't see myself coming back to it. The majority of the custom maps are locked, unless you own the season pass. There's also a ton of locked ones that should be included in the game. I would not recommend this game to anyone, not to mention the frame rate is extremely inconsistent.

Hate this game not worth the $20. First off Uplay. Also the massive difficulty jump from Medium to Hard levels is insane. I went from getting gold on every track to passing level with 100+ faults and these arenearly always racked up at one nearly imposible jump and sometime not even being able to complete a level because of these jumps. I dont recomend this game unless you are freakishly skilled and/or patient.

It's a good game, but it's not as good as Trials Evolution. That game was very long and offered so much deversity in the modes and level design. Add the crazy amount of unique user created levels, multiplayer and you have a classic.

Cons - Fusion is a pretty short game and the heavy handed futuristic theme is off putting after a while. If I have to hear that, welcome to future song one more time, ugh! The DLC has been pretty nice but they're short levels and not worth the price. The selection of user created levels is limited and not very interesting so far. No online multiplayer and the local multiplayer is a shallow experience. The later levels get ridiculously hard.

Pros - It's still a Trials game and the controls are awesome. The new trick feature done with the analog sticks is a welcomed addition. The soundtrack during the levels are pretty sweet. So I still have to recommend it if you're a Trials fan, but I'd wait till i goes down in price.

Fun game, but it has the Uplay disease. If it wasn't so much fun, I'd not recommend it simply based on Uplay.

Reccomended because it wont stay if not reccomended

I have played the origonal Trials HD on the 360 and at that time it was AWESOME then they cam out with Evolution still cool, after they fixed some problems it had :/ THEN IT CAME OUT FOR PC :D and i was at first excited but soon found out it was (at release) Poorly optimized but i digress, it was fixed and i could enjoy it ..... then this game cam along ;/ least i can say is that i was excited at first but after they fixed the poor FPS thing i realized that this was JUTS LIKE A MODDED VERSION OF Evolution no seriously play evolution then play this game ... it is the same engine but with nome skin packs and a few new objects on a different map NOT really a COMPLETELY NEW game ... i should add that multiplayer (at realese) was promised to be worked on and i waited a while and NOTHIN just nuthin except local. Dispicable i was hopeing for better from a MULTI MILLION DOLLAR CORPERATION ... But i guess i can come to expect less from Ubisoft

I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS GAME unless you are fine with only local multiplayer with online only drm (Uplay) so no real offline capibilitys and dont mind that this game is not much more than a skin mod and a new map for Evolution

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. If you dont have the perfect gaming computer, and you are just a kid, do not buy this game. Apparently your "gbu" thingy needs to be updated or something so you basically need to spend more money. It also makes you download and create so many new accounts. YAYAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYAY I HATE YOU STEAM FOR EVEN ALLOWING THIS GAME TO BE BOUGHT.
