Let me be honest here right from the beginning:
I hate racing games.

The first racing game I ever got into that had some form of aggression in it was NASCAR Rumble. You could send tornados accross the track and wipe people out. It was very fun and my mom and I would play it for hours. It's near-to-impossible to find it nowadays or it's extremely expensive if you do. Gas Guzzlers Extreme fills the void NASCAR Rumble once filled.

I've spent 3.2 hours straight playing this game and now it's time for a proper review. The racing is seamless to me, it's enjoyable, and it's very well balanced. The voice acting is clever and fun, and it's just an overall good game. I completed the first tournament in the campaign and love how you get to choose what to do. No liniar story. You can choose to do a race with no weapons, a race with weapons, or the popular 'last person per lap gets knocked out' race. Sometimes there are sponsors to help you get more money and their skins look awesome!

There is full vehicle customization, which I love considering I owned Need for Speed on PS4 and would spend hours customizing my car to make it my own. The game in itself is very well done for someone who doesn't like racing games one bit. I very much enjoyed the sponsored events like deathmatches and capture the flag. This game has more content than I thought it would have!

I recommend this game for anyone who loves racing and wants to blow other cars up. :D

Initially quite fun, but it gets dull fast. You quickly unlock most of the useful stuff, and after that it feels too repetitive. I imagine multiplayer would give it a significant boost, but it was dead whenever I tried.

Many of the games that have come out the last few years, have all focused on two different things; the graphics and how challenging the game is. But not many people make a game that is just fun anymore. Gas Guzzlers Extreme doesnt have the greatest graphics or is the most challenging game on the market, but what is does have is good controls, fun attmosphere, and an amazing ability to make you just want to keep playing and keep playing for hours. Many of the bigger games lose the just "fun factor", however, I feel and believe that Gas Guzzlers have found the right amount of challenge, good graphics, and fun to make this game addicting to all gamers, weither they be noobs or vets, this game is for all.

Fast paced and exciting car action game that is simply great chaotic fun with plenty of replay value. Both races and battles are thrilling and the game is easy to learn, but hard to master. Grinding the various events to unlock new cars, weapons, stickers, engines, and even sponsors can get incredibly addicting really fast. There have been times where I didn't intend to play more than a couple of races before moving onto something else, but ended up quadrupling that number as the unlocks kept rolling in. But even in defeat, the game stays satisfying and you can earn plenty of money losing as long as you complete the bonus objectives; vice versa if you ignore the bonus objectives and simply win the events. The music is mostly hard rock, which fits well with the action. None of the tunes are very memorable, but they get the job done. You can choose a voice for your character. For mine, I choose an Arnold Schwarzenegger type voice, and he actually says lines from Arnold's actual films, specifically Jingle All the Way (one of my favorites), which gets quoted the most. It gets a bit repetitive hearing the same phrases repeated over and over again, but at first, it was amusing and elicited quite a few chuckles from me.

Seeing how much stuff there is to unlock can be overwhelming to the player at first, especially when they first boot it up, but once you really get into the game, it'll seem too easy. The only thing that would make the game feel more complete is having a better multiplayer community. That way, people would have more of an incentive to buy the cool looking dlc. Nearly ever time I went on, there were only a couple of lobbies, both with very few players. However, whenever I did play an online game, I had an absolute blast; it brought back memories of playing Twisted Metal with friends, and the action was even more insane than the highest difficulty of the single player. Overall, this is easily one of best racing games on steam, especially on the non-sim side. I highly recommend it if you enjoyed the Twisted Metal series growing up, or even if you never got to try it, as it's a very entertaining game that respects the player's time.

The game is pretty much garbage, I was playing on medium difficulty and you can legit take a corner slightly wrong and go from 1st to 8th because there seems to be no variable ability in the AI. It says it's crazy addictive but I was literally bored after like 10 minutes.

The presentation is childish and unprofessional as ♥♥♥♥, the graphics are bad for a 2013 game and the game just has no redeeming features except the fact you can get it cheap, and you get a lot of achievements from it. Although the retail price of the game is absolutely hilarious

The game at full price is extremely overpriced, considering you can have races that last like 10 seconds, cause as soon as weapons get engaged you can literally get insta taken down, which is absolute fun! I love wasting my time!!!

The humour is hilariously childish, or "Stu Pitt" should I say, like you might chuckle at some of the Duke Nukem references if you're like 12 (I like Duke but they're not funny)

It also decides to not save my video settings so I have to go through the effort of redoing it all every time I boot the game, absolute quality PC development, guys

And the game is £19 on Steam or £27 for the Gold Edition, we're talking Dirt Rally, F1 2016 kinda money... it's more expensive than a lot of AAA racers, and that alone is pretty ridiculous and arrogant, this game is worth £2 maximum, yet they have the audacity to charge £19/27

It is DOUBLE the price of Dirt Showdown, and is only just cheaper than Dirt 3 Complete... Like dude the special edition of this game is over double the price of Rocket League

So basically if you want a mediocre Blur rip off, buy this (Blur is a far better game)

Basically overall it feels like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ retro racer, but really it's a £19 indie game that has really dodgy reviews, I fail to believe a lot of the reviews on here....

But it's alright, you can buy a 4 pack for £55...

This game compare to 'Wreckfest' or other racing types, this one has low quality graphics, small rate of cars, and a bit ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gameplay to beggin with!
Sure, it takes back the time in 2012th, when the Beta version came out, but the point is, that this game is weak with short
story line in it.
Just *bleh* xq
